The Doorway: a panfandom game

We've reached Kuwait so I wanted to take the time to make a short report before we moved on to the last two destinations in Botswana and South America. I estimate it will take at least another 3-4 days before we are back judging by how the apparition has been going so far. I shall leave reporting on the specific details to Mr Dixon but each site we have been to has been utterly destroyed. The destruction is quite complete right down to the razed buildings and melted vehicles.

We have been remarkably undisturbed at the sites though we did gather watchers at the two sites in Iraq. I sent them off chasing shadows before we left but not before having a little chat with a few of the older ones. They were rather frightened but were either unwilling or unable to explain the reason why. Thus I rather reluctantly took the liberty of using legilimency. They were watching at night and couldn't see with any great detail. Ultimately the best I got from them was that Shayatin had been there and had destroyed all. Take that as you will. They did seem rather certain that the accents they heard from these purported 'Shayatin' were American.

I see a lot of people arriving here are from 'cited sources' and are likely having to go through an adjustment. Out of curiosity, if you don't mind sharing, what was your reaction to being told that you're a fictional character - created and written by someone else? Has it created any questions about decisions you've made, losses you've suffered, accolades you've earned, or thoughts regarding your future? It seems like it could easily create a crisis of faith in someone who is devout in their religion.

If anyone has asked this before, I would appreciate being directed to the answers if someone doesn't wish to repeat themselves. Likewise, if it's not something you want to talk about, I won't push.

From everything I've been able to find, that aren't going to be any new episodes of my show until October. How am I going to make sure that Carl's still alive, still safe with me here. Even though I'm there too somehow Has anybody else here had to go through this yet? Waiting for a new season to start so you can find out what's going on with your loved ones?

I skipped watching the show last night. I don't think I can yet after what happened last weekend. He was a zombie. He sacrificed himself for us. And then I had to be the one to kill him. We just found each other...this wasn't supposed to happen. I fucking hate the governor.

Rick's found himself a job. I kind of need to do that. I don't have many skills unless you count killing zombies and hunting. Most job don't seem to have requirements that include expertise with crossbows. A lot of the jobs of I've come across are shit retail jobs and I wasn't a people before or after the zombie outbreak.

Anyone out there have any suggestions for a job?

I've been watching the past episodes of my show. I'm nearly caught up to what has been on so far. It still kind of weird to watch but its Sunday again and that means my show is on. And I will be watching. I'm sure Rick will be too.

I'm starving. I think I'm off to go find some food.
