Someone involved with the Butterfly Effect, Janet Vallencia, the artist which the newspapers seem to be crediting the butterfly murals to, has been arrested.

Apparently when I was here before, I managed to convince the Pollock Frasner Foundation that I was an artist and my grant is coming up for renewal.

I always imagined artists would have a bit more attention to detail, but who am I to argue?

I've heard that you've recently received a mental visitation by a telepath.

You know, they say you never forget your first.

But I was wondering if I might have a word with you regarding what happened, and how you feel about it now. Your friend Steve Rogers approached me on your behalf, and to learn a little more about telepathy himself, but I'd like to better understand your thoughts and feelings on the subject. Perhaps even, to offer advice.

My name is Charles Xavier, I am a mutant, who lives at the X-Men Mansion in Brooklyn with a number of my friends and colleagues. I'm also a pretty seasoned telepath, myself. So if you have any questions or concerns about what happened, we could start there.

This is Steven Rogers. I've been told you're the one to talk to about things like this. I have a [...] friend who was affec made younger recently. While he was stuck like that, he said someone had spoken to him in his mind. My friend -- Bucky -- didn't tell me exactly what was said but he seemed shaken. It could be nothing. I don't imagine she meant any harm, but I'm not exactly convinced she didn't accidentally do something anyway. I know in the past our sides haven't seen eye-to-eye, and I'd like to think we've been respectful of each other. I don't want to go into detail on why I'm asking this, but I'm hoping we can agree that certain boundaries should be met.

I know that many of you may have been alarmed, taken aback or put off by Potts Tower Presidential Candidate Erik Lensherr's network address. And I wanted to take a moment to speak on his behalf, and perhaps speak on the subject of his passion, his determination and his unyielding devotion to shaping the outcome of the future. His accomplishments, I think, might have been a bit lost in his rhetoric and I wanted an opportunity to set the record straight.

→ Erik was instrumental in building a safe environment for unwanted or misunderstood children, helping them to hone their particular skills, gifts and abilities and making them feel loved and appreciated for who they are and the unique perspective they have to bring to the world.

No one understands what it is like to be ripped from their home and thrown into a new environment with little to no means of survival better than Erik does. He understands what it is like to be a victim of the Tesseract's whim and he understands how difficult it can be for refugees here. And he will do everything he can to make the tower a safe and supportive space, a retreat from a world that may not care or understand you, a place among your peers when you can be loved and supported. I know this because I have seen him do this before.

→ Relentlessness is not to be feared.

It takes courage and determination to instigate change. And as the world is changing against us, it will take even more courage and determination to fight against those tides. As people continue to protest against the Potts Tower refugees, as residents here are losing their jobs because of the public opinion of White Event affected individuals -- we need a strong voice, and perhaps a strong hand to make sure that this discrimination goes no farther. To make sure that our rights and liberties are and will always be protected. So yes, it may mean a leader who is relentless, but isn't having someone relentless in our favour better than someone who will compromise with our freedom on the line?

We carry our wounds, the ways that we've been hurt; the ways we hurt ourselves. We bury them deep. We hoard them like treasures and bring them out only when no one else can see. To relieve that pain, to find strength or rage in it. To fuel the fire that keeps us burning towards something better -- or revenge.

But there is something -- something important -- that I think we might all do well to take something from these strange, invasive journeys. It's that whatever we face, whatever pain we keep in our hearts or monsters that dwell in the shadows of our own minds. We must never face them alone, and there are always those what will follow you into your darkest corners, and fight your demons not our of rage or fury - But out of love.

When you have a cold what do you do? This isn't a general medical question, more asking what your personal remedies are, what do you like to eat and drink, things of that nature. Do you spend all your time watching Netflix in bed? Read?

I'm not feeling well, so I'm going to go back to bed for a while.

So I watched this like countdown to the Oscars thing last night, and Star Wars was like, their 'number one most important film' or whatever, and I'm sitting here going - but did it win Oscars? But apparently it did for like best score and and effects and was even nominated for Best Picture, which I did not know. I need to brush up on my Academy Awards/Oscars whatever trivia, clearly.

I know it's terribly petty, but when the actress that plays you, and you both show up to the same show during fashion week, and your outfit is so much more awesome than hers? Yeah, that happened.

Why is cooking so damn hard? I mean I try to follow a recipe, but I always set things on fire and then it's all burned. And when it's not burned and gross, it doesn't taste the way that I thought it was going to taste.

I give up. Living on take out for the rest of my natural life.
