Not quite where I expected to end the day.

At times such as these, it can feel as though everyone around us is going off to war. It is a familiar sensation, but I know I am not the only one left behind. Who else is still here? Lets see if we can find something to take our mind off things. If nothing more exciting is suggested, there is always the pub.

So there's something of an event going on. Monsters, or something, are attacking and people are in trouble. I'm sure there are several already helping but it would be amiss if we didn't extend our hand. Pun intended.

For better or worse, this is the world we've found ourselves in. I cannot sit idly by while others are getting hurt. Solas, remember that favor you owe me? I'm calling it in.

Also if someone knows how to get some armor and a staff, I'd appreciate that. Going out undefended is foolhardy.

I do not know how closely the Dwarven calendar equates to your calendar here but as I was born in the 10th month at home*, I shall claim October as my birth month here. It is perhaps a bit late but I would like to invite you all to a celebration of my day of birth at Sam's this Saturday eve. It has been some time since I have felt that I could justify such a celebration so I shall ensure the ale flows freely and there is food for all.

Guns and chestpieces are available at the PTYC and should be worn while out in the Tower. Due to incidents last time, the Orange Cafe should be considered neutral ground and please respect the wishes of Tower businesses if they wish to implement similar policies.

Discussions whether to wage war are a luxury one only has when removed from the battlefield. I know little of these foes. But if they will one day threaten this country, surely it is better to strike them early than late.

If I asked for a rake, how likely would a profligate suitor be likely to answer the call? This place seems to work in very mysterious ways.

Everyone whose armor came into the shop after that blighted dimension has been fully repaired. If yours wasn't, I'll clean it right up for you. And for anyone who wished they had armor but didn't, I can make it custom for you or I've made a high caliber selection to choose from. And you squishy ones, mages and anyone who doesn't want to lug around something metal, I've made a start on developing their materials for you. Lighter weight, decent body protection from their kind of projectiles. Limited use against an axe.

Regardless of how many orders I get, it's time to properly drink and celebrate living. It's also been long enough all of you should feel up to doing that. I'll buy a round for everyone who fought something. We can share stories and discuss the most enjoyable ways to relax.

My mind is best put to exploring something new. I understand you have a fondness for documents and uniforms. If you're mostly facing projectile weapons - guns you call them - I have some recommendations to change to the uniform. And if you want them to protect from something else, once I know what it is, I can invent something for that.

Lord Stark was kind enough to offer some space in this tower to be converted into a forge. Hindsight being what it is, events proved my folly in declining that offer. I cannibalized much of Sam's kitchen to make due in the other dimension. But if that generosity is still offered, I would like to set up some space here, to make my works as well as to sell them. Should the tower be transported to any other locations, I shall then be able to better arm and protect the people living here. I hope such a purpose is pleasing to you, Lady Potts, and even should it not happen, I do believe my efforts will help save lives. I am further willing to teach my craft to those willing and trustworthy that reside in this tower, through whatever means and organization you prefer. I reserve the right to remove anyone from my forge, however, as my last apprentices were the immoral traitors who turned me into a golem. And I trust, none of us would wish for such behavior to take place in your House.

And does everyone just accept that they've been brought here against their will? I have a bad feeling about this.

I'm going to need six smoke detectors, a toaster, a microwave, a laptop, a bike chain, and some grapes.

several strong, average, and lesser poultices made by my Elder Mage which I will sell for 500, 250, or 100 dollars apiece

and some feathery mage robe that is likely worth 800 dollars.

Of course, items will go to the highest bidder. Cash only. I also trade for gems or gold. Though unfortunately, my credit card terminal is down. So I cannot take those.

She was slightly unimpressed that I was taking photos of her instead of playing with her. I'll have to come up with a name for her now.

I have begun exploring the new materials in this world, its armors and its weaponry. The casting of small pieces of metal as projectiles is a marvelous advancement. People have been injured or died if a weapon breaks remarkably, as in the face of a freezing spell. But to do so on purpose! Bullets. It will change what needs you all must have for armor. But this kevlar has kept few secrets from me. If you have need of protection, please come to me for something you cannot easily buy. So long as I know what you need, I will make you the best armor - or weapons.

Leadership and nobles of Stark Charities and SWORD, my knowledge is lacking in regards to who should be contacted on this matter. The clothing shop in Potts Tower, Pepper's Closet, has an arrangement to receive the excess clothing articles no longer used and not wished to be kept in storage. I would like to make a similar arrangement with regards to other things. Namely, metals and non-metals I can use in a forge or for enchantment. The names thus far involved would incline me to Lady Pepper on that matter.

Further, should it be amenable to Ladies Carol and Abigail, I would like to make a further agreement with SWORD. Should such materials of unknown provenance come through the tesseract, I would like to offer my services first to use the materials to make something of value for you for only the cost of my workmanship. And should any of those materials not be of interest to you, that I be allowed to use them for those it does.
