I'd like to return, before school begins, and I would like to battle by your side, whichever realm you preferred to fight in. I've spoken with my mother, and she'll do the same. Were you still planning on going?

I don't know if Sadie's going to be too busy working on anchoring the connection to Asgard, but it'd be great to have you there too, if you could.

You have seen Fandral's call to arms for allies. Torunn is on Asgard and certainly shall be joining the fight. I would like your blessing to join her and James to aid Asgard. You and Steve are going as well, which means you will be in the vicinity. Indeed, at least four parents will be, if not more.

I will gladly make up any classwork I miss, and in anticipation of this possibility, I have been working all week to get ahead on my homework and studies. If necessary, I can take the exams before we leave.

I return to your realm today with news far more dire than our usual banter. The nine realms have been thrown into chaos. Thor and Asgard are in need of aid to help reestablish peace among them. There are to be many a grand battle to determine the fate of these worlds and rip them back from the clutches of chaos.

With many noteworthy individuals now on Earth, many of you who have battled alongside my brother in arms now, I come to beseech aid of any heroes who wish to help another realm that is not their own. I have heard word of the many selfless acts of the residents here and I have faith that some of you will rise to the call.

Volunteers, we rejoice your service and I eagerly await joining you upon the battlefield.

So I'm British, Ty Lee is fire nation, Carter is whatever dad was, and you guys are from like jungle Antarctica. So thanksgiving isn't really a thing.

Buuuuut on the other hand Bast loves parties and it sounds like a party so we should have one at the house on Thursday.

Andrew Wells was just sent home. Checked Brittany's place and she's gone also.

What sort of things do humans eat on ice cream these days?

I've always preferred my milk with honey if we're going sweet. but that doesn't seem the thing here.

Well since it's a school night and everything. And also cause I spent the night at the gathering tonight with Ianto and them so it'd be silly. But it was bonfire night and we haven't properly christened in the House of Life yet.

So this weekend we are totally going to have a delayed party. And I mean can't really do the bonfire because well it's not the actual day and everything, at least not the same sort of bonfire. We might still do one just cause they're fun. But a party at the House of Life this friday night!!

Cause I mean I've never built a house before and that's totally worth celebrating and if you want to come just let me know and I can make sure that you don't accidentally get zapped across town by a security spell!

Some days it almost feels like I can touch the Duat. Some days it seems further than ever.

Also if one more brat makes insinuations about Sadie and me at the museum I'm quitting.

We've got most of the House of Life finished! Just some finishing touches like finishing up the pool and making sure that all wards and such are in working order or whatever. Also building some more Shabti for the library! Probably some ones with like hands or something to hold books and items. Walt would have been way better at that than I am but he's not here so.

Also Carter's room is like the greyest, brownest room ever to exist. It's what would happen if beige just came into existence and beiged up the place. Maybe it's meant to be so boring that it just puts him to sleep.

So I know you guys aren't staying with us or anything, but there's room for each of you if you guys do ever end up spending time at the house. Plus I mean I can make bedrooms and I've gotten like a ton of practice at it lately.

In a way, perhaps it is for the best that this Tesseract is releasing its hold over us slowly. This is a nice diversion, but I doubt any of us were truly considering it in the long term. There is work to be done back home, and while we might tell ourselves that it continues in our absence, does it?

That said, there are worse realms to be trapped in. And I wouldn't mind staying to see Sadie's House of Life rebuilt. Oh, it's coming along nicely. I'd already have moved over some of my personal coterie of cats. However, Friday there's a lunar eclipse and those are always such inauspicious times. I couldn't bear leave them there.

What I mean to say, I suppose, is take care Friday, darlings.

Okay, WHAT IS GOING ON? This is stupid. Yesterday as soon as I went down to the sidewalk, I got splashed at the curb. I went back inside, took a bath, went back out, got splashed again and got wrapped up in leashes by some idiot dogwalker and a herd of yappy mutts. Today seems to be the day for exactly the wrong color of cat fur to cover whatever I try to wear, even after I change clothes. I gave up and put on my costume and a coat. That lasted maybe two seconds outside before an idiot crashed into me with a coffee. And a group of Catwoman cosplayers saw the whole thing, so I bet they were rethinking that dress-up choice.

I cannot think about where I will live in this moment. I am thinking only of where I can be. With your permission, I would like to spend a few nights this week in the House of Life. I know they he is not dead, but it is still a loss. And I cannot reach out to the T'Challa that leads Wakanda here.

So, the owner of the building's finally come around to my way of seeing things. But we reached an agreement and he says we can have space on the roof so long as we don't interfere with the machine things that are on it.

I mean, the House shouldn't so that's fine. But! That means we should start building.

Queen is now walking nicely on her leash. She's also annoyed at me for having her neutered, but it's the right choice. She'll be more perky once she's able to jump up on things and glare at me. Right now she's walking on her wheel and killing Da Bird.

She firmly avoided those chalk paintings today. She didn't like them at all.
