The Doorway: a panfandom game

In just a few days, the Potts Tower Youth Center will be hosting a talent show. The proceedings for the tickets for the event will benefit the Children's Aid Society, and as best I can tell there will be some very entertaining acts.

I'd like to invite you all to attend, and if anyone would yet like to assist, please let me know and I will put you in touch with the event organizers.

What kind of job can someone who knows how to wield an ax get in a city like this where the only thing she knows is how to chop wood and this place looks more like it better cling on tightly to the remaining trees here? Because I heard jobs are great distractions.

Could be because I sit in my classes for most of the week and lament going out because I have to study about TWO HOURS for each of my classes every day (or so our professors say we should). Since a lot of people seem to be up for spars and since it was suggested and is a good idea I was thinking maybe there could be like, a once a week meet up for people to spar? Or maybe bi-weekly? Just so like, if people need to blow off steam or whatever there are days set aside specifically for that?

You know, I read an interesting article today about one of the men from Bowers v. Hardwick.

It's rather comforting, really, in light of all the recent legislative attempts to criminalize, disenfranchise, marginalize and otherwise harm the community, that even some of the most stubborn minds are still capable of change.

I never would have thought I would become so fond of the snow, but there's finally enough that we've managed to hook the horses up to the sleigh and get them used to it. Sleigh rides were certainly not a possibility growing up in the mojave.

Also, would anyone be interested in a trip to see the Dark Universe Space Show at the Museum of Natural History? It looks interesting and I'm always curious to see how different worlds present space exploration.
