NYS has some new examination requirements--again--and I think we should emphasize professional development. Some of our students have been here over two years, they should start looking forward. Perhaps fortunately, "punching things" doesn't seem as much of a viable career here.

Additionally, welcome Anne Blythe, she's replacing Fred for Delta Group. If we are not careful, we will have a Canadian bloc.

I'm really starting to grow attached to New York, I think.

I have had conversations about hunting - or squishing - with all of you. The dinosaur preserve in my apartment is large enough to avoid each other if desired. There is no longer a dinosaur, and the wildlife has bred abundantly for months. These generations have not known a dinosaur, but previous ones have. I invite you to come hunt there at a common time. I suggest Sunday. But whichever day you agree, I can do it.

I make resolutions many times. It has never been tied with the start of any calendar system. Nor are they for one year only.

Can we go back to winter break? I wasn't done with that yet.

For once I actually find the fact that our fans are divided on what they want to see happen between the two of us slightly amusing. I was even polite when a small group approached me earlier today and asked what I thought.

I'm not quite certain how this is working, but I have this device here and am going to try it. They told me that we were in a completely different world, but it is quite fascinating. And what is this that we are speaking? It doesn't sound anything like elfish or dwarfish or any other language of Middle Earth.

I've been told there might be some others from Middle Earth here...are there? I'm Bilbo, Bilbo Baggins.

Um...I think Johnny Storm might have gone home. He was the leader of the Fantastic Avengers. I don't want to overstep anyone's boundaries, but we are short at least two members now for the Fantastic Avengers.

In order to perform at optimal tendencies, we would need at least two additional members to the Fantastic Avengers. If your world fights different armies or different battles, then you would qualify. It's better if you have experience with other life forms or strange creatures, but that training can be developed as well.

New year, lots of new furniture orders apparently. I've been keepin' myself real busy out at the ranch the past few days, but it's nice to have my own tools to work with and I think it's makin' things go a bit faster.

I'm thinkin' this year I'm gonna do some travelin' like I did last year. Maybe to Alaska again, although I'd take alternate destinations if anyone could convince me. I ain't real fond of lots of folk about though, so it'd need to be a quiet place -- Lots of space.

I should've done this yesterday, but I was exhausted from driving forever on Sunday. (DAWN AND LAURA ARE WORTH IT THO) Last night, the new PTYC parenting group met! From the calendar: Whether your kids are young or old, join host Mary Margaret Blanchard at 7 PM on Mondays to share practical advice and emotional support with other refugee parents in a safe environment where all parents (and their diverse range of experiences) are welcome.

I know some of you have already posted/commented about it and that's awesome! :D MM will join in soon. But I figured I'd put this here so we can all keep track of who attended, what info they would've shared about themselves/their kid(s), what questions they might have asked or issues they might have brought up, etc. There was absolutely no pressure to talk, but MM made sure everyone who wanted to got a chance!
