I've got a Christmas tree for us! I put it next to the window, but I'm thinking it might be better near the kitchen. You should look at it. I'm going out right now to get some ornaments for it. I cannot believe this is my second - third Christmas here? And I've not yet managed to gather any real Christmas decorations. It's a bit pathetic.

So I'm thinking of turning my swimming pool into an ice rink but I'd have to make a new swimming pool for Philip to live in. I mean I guess I could build a new room that is just an ice rink, Khufu might like it.

Well, the Rubin Museum has an exhibit on which focuses on the meditation practice of Sarvavid Vairochana, a primordial Buddha central to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. The paintings are on loan from the Museum aan de Stroom in Antwerp, Belgium -- and I thought you might like to see them. The Rubin also has a other exhibits and a shrine room that I thought might interest you...

Anyway! I have a bit of pull with one of the art directors there, they used to work at the Morgan, so I could probably arrange for us go after hours so you wouldn't be bothered by anyone -- that's, I mean, that's if you'd like to go.
