The Doorway: a panfandom game

So in case anyone decides to take a nice visit in Central Park, and are particularly spooked easily, you might not want to go there. Seriously have no idea what caused it but one second we're having a nice walk along the path (even if its dark) and then we're surrounded by a foggy cemetery with skeletons coming out of the ground and smell of blood and rot, and screams in the distant. It had to be more than just a holographic prank by someone in the area.

Unless you're into that sort of thing, then make sure you don't take Loki with you because he might scream and yell about how he totally told you about there being murderers.. and thus ruin the mood.

Not sure what the availability of parts is around here, so I'm guessing those might have to wait. The last time I was here, I was here for many months, long enough to accrue many belongings that I understand were to be kept for so long a time before being donated elsewhere. I consider myself quite lucky then, that they are still here, because it has certainly helped in turning this apartment into something that resembles a home. I am still getting my bearings, but it helps that today I found a box containing a journal I kept while here last, and, wonder of wonders, my very own lap desk from home and, surprisingly, every one of my Lady Whistledown articles. I have found a book, as well, which surprised me. Upon reading the back of it, I discovered that it is a book about me.

I am hopeful that my journal will give me some insight into what the book holds, and perhaps I will read it. As it is, I discovered that I took it upon myself to further my education beyond what I had in the schoolroom during my childhood. I earned a "GED", and then started classes at a local university. I can't even describe how wondrous it is that, a woman, am able to become even more educated. Among the papers and pamphlets given to me upon my arrival was one about the ESD, detailing classes that are designed to catch people like me up with this modern era. Who might I speak to about these courses?

All agents available, suit up. we're moving on West Virginia. We've gotten an actual lead on this Carnival and enough of one that we should be able to take them down.

We'll be meeting up with Agent Picard's team. Do not engage until reinforcements arrive unless it looks like we might lose them. Lethal force is not authorized unless there is no other option. We want to contain and capture. We won't know from first look who is being held against their will and who isn't.

Medical you will be with us as well, for anyone there who is in this monstering process.

On October 14th we are going to kick off the semisortofannual Potts Tower nerf battle. It's a battle royale for glory over each other in the tower. Mono e nerfno.

Your Potts Tower Nerf Ruling Committee is run by myself and Jon Kasiya. So remember to follow the rules that will be posted at the sign up area. Rule violators will be kicked out of the tournament. You will also be provided with a map of the tower and its safe zones.

So stop by and sign up.

Hello, Refugees, Residents of Potts Tower & Stark Network Affiliates!

Fitz and I have now, officially, moved into Potts Tower. We've got all the boxes and things in order and lots of unpacking to do but we're absolutely here. And very much looking forward to getting better acquainted with everyone.

Um, also, in a week or two we will be getting a monkey. So if you like monkeys, that's good for you, if you don't like monkeys, you can consider this your official monkey warning.

But I will say that Monkey Helpers assures me that she will be a very polite and well-behaved monkey, so I do hope that that might put any of your monkey fears at ease. If it does not, then I do suggest you look up the Ricky Gervais podcast for Karl Pilkington's monkey news.

And apologies to the Doctor in advance, if she does attempt to steal any of your pocket bananas.

So I'm 17 now. My birthday just recently passed. I didn't really expect it to feel different than any other birthday.. I mean, I didn't tell anyone because between trying to figure out the polymorph thing and classes, it actually slipped my mind. And it's not like I have my family here to wake me up with samosas and ragullas for breakfast (yes, that's a pretty fattening breakfast, it shouldn't be a surprise that South Asians have high cholesterol and high blood pressure), but I guess that's just it. They're not here. And it turned out that this birthday was different than other birthdays because they weren't here. And I miss my mom. No matter how many times I call her "crazy protective". :(
