Given my current lack of familiarity with the corporations and organisations of the 21st Century in this world, I have chosen, in the interim, to take on a teaching position within the Educational Services Division. I have always seen my role as the Head of the Sciences Division on the Enterprise as being as much a teaching as a leadership position to the crewmen and women under my command so the role is not unfamiliar to me. I shall be teaching Astrophysics and Computer Science and I look forward to meeting my students when the new teaching period begins. If any student or potential student has questions, I would be more than willing to answer them to the best of my ability.

I'm almost a little surprised the Bugle didn't suggest that I'm Norman Osborn. It's not every day they blame something on someone that isn't me.

Anyway, I don't know what is going to happen now, but I'm going to try and talk to Harry and see what he knows, or what they've told him. I want to find out of these Norman Osborn claims hold any water, of if this is just -- well, if this is just the Bugle being the Bugle. They tend to miss the mark.

Been a busy week for you, huh?

It's nice to know that the future doesn't lack culture. I always figured that's the direction we were headed: to a world with no appreciate for high art, for inspiration, for conceptualizing and interpreting the most important aspects of our humanity.

But the Central Park Conservancy Film Festival continues, and tonight it's playing Ghostbusters. I have never held tighter to my faith in humanity.

Well that was an exciting news day. Certainly seemed to tie itself up nicely.

The school year is started up. I've secured several guest lecture spots on profiling over the next semester. I'd missed teaching. It's been far too long since I've been in a classroom. Granted it's perfectly warranted to not want me in a classroom, so it is nice to be invited.

Have you spoken with your mentor yet? There's a woman who has the same powers as I do, she's not here but her brother is my mentor. He asked about the movie I'm from and I told him that it was okay if he watched it. Still feels a bit weird for me though. I know I was younger and all but it feels there was some personal issues of mine being brought up. Has anyone talked to you about the books you're in?

I think Bonnie's gone... which sucks. And means I'm officially swamped at the magic store. I don't suppose there's anyone with a history of small business management and witchcraft looking for a full-time job?

We've got something to move on.

There's a shipment coming in this weekend. Jon and I have narrowed down some locations that it could be ending up at. If we can take out this shipment, it'll slow them down at least a little bit while we keep working on trying to track down the guy behind all this.

So far all that keeps coming up is "The Chemist" which is super vague.
