The Doorway: a panfandom game

I have too many thoughts, and it is too late to make my way to a shop to buy a journal. I shall simply have to make due with what resources I have to hand -- and with it being a rather lazy sort of evening, I don't want to leave my spot on my couch to fetch a pen and piece of notebook paper. And so to the network I turn.

Item the first: I discovered a piano on the thirteenth floor today, but it was sadly out of tune, although not by much. Who might I talk to about tuning it? I am, of course, more than happy to take on this project myself; I simply do not wish to step on toes, as it were.

Item the second: I can not find it within myself to like the subway as a mode of transportation. Going underground to travel seems slightly unnatural to me, and I feel as if I must be somewhat claustrophobic. I also find the people -- men, mostly, I am terribly saddened to say -- to be rude. There is no need to call me a 'bitch' simply because I do not wish to talk. Allow me to tend to my business, and you may tend to your own.

Item the third: This coming week I will be taking a tour of ESU, but having never thought to attend university, I find myself at a loss. What questions should I ask? Buildings that I should absolutely see? I know I will be attending, but I feel as if I should know more than I will be taking classes.

Item the fourth: Would anyone like to visit the animal shelter with me? Miss Laura Kinney works at one, and she assures me that visitors are welcome.

Item the fifth: Is it absolutely necessary to have an escort? Date? For the prom?

So, how was your week? Mine wasn't anything special. But I'll tell you one thing, I'm definitely not down for a bunch of gunfire on anything that's thousands of miles in the air. All it leads to is a slow ass week of imprisonment and more gunfire.

Filter to Hill, Fury (MCU)

Early this morning I was summoned to medical. Patient Aisha has escaped. Director Fury, all information regarding this patient has been forwarded to you, with the relevant information flagged. In a nutshell: she has been entering into lucid periods more and more often during the past month. A week and a half ago, she entered into one and then had a screaming match with someone called Jonathan.

This morning it was discovered that her cell was empty. Shortly after, it was also discovered that the other remaining Scarecrow victim has been killed. Security footage is spotty, but it does show that Aisha stabbed him. I have security personnel looking into the matter of the spotty footage and how she might have gained access to the instrument she used to kill him. I will, of course, keep you apprised of the situation.

My plan was to come home today, open a bottle of wine, and spend the rest of the day doing absolutely nothing. Naturally, there has been a change in plan and I will see you two later this evening, with any luck. At the latest, tomorrow.

I want to personally apologize and take a chance to explain what happened. We kept fightin after you left, but they got the upper hand. We then did our best to evacuate the Helicarrier of support, med, and tech staff save for a small crew and were planning to take it down into the harbour. Only controls to that thing aren't so simple as they are to a Huey, are they?

Think you can trust the ones they caught didn't tell em anything. and I'm hopin the damage they did in what a week, ain't too much that we can't make it right again. But If you'll still take me, let me know where I've gotta report and I guess I know where to focus in that training.

You know, you might've been looking for me on the rocks last week.

If there is a coup to be staged or a revolution to be had, I might hope in the future that my fellows here in the Tower might be sporting about it and include the rest of us.

Notwithstanding, of course, the ability to pre-determine our desire to take part in said coup. But owing to the fact that we are (generally speaking) all heroic-persuaded, I should think it would be some good work.

I'm starting to feel happy and hopeful again...is it bad I'm suspicious of these feelings?

I went to the library to see if I lived at the end of my book series and ended up grabbing The Count. It's been a long time since I read it and I've forgotten most of the story, but now I'm starting to see why I liked it the first time.
