iron in thedoorway
So I really hate Olive Garden. And I know we didn't meet there last time, but we almost did, and that is a tragedy that I'm not going to see under my watch. I feel like I owe it to you, and more than that - I owe it to myself.
When Stark Industries was first getting started, under my grandfather Howard Stark (senior - trust me I feel like I dodged a bullet there) he had a warehouse on 36th & 5th where he primarily worked on developed metal alloys for the military. Most of that warehouse was torn down under my father's watch, and it was eventually converted into a kind of... townhouse-slash-smaller-lab which, needless to say, I outgrew back in the 90s when business operations moved elsewhere.
Right now, it's basically just a glorified car garage. But I think I can move them elsewhere. (One, possibly into the possession of Jennifer Walters - more on that in a minute). I want to turn the place into a meeting house for us, a base of operations if you will, with the tech and the means to get organised and do what we do best: protect people.
So in the next few weeks, I want to hear about what you'd like to contribute, if you'd like to contribute, if you like the idea, what you'd like to do with the idea and how we might make this the best home away from home possible.
Additionally, hey guys -- Jennifer Walters is here. I've talked to her a little bit about working to legally set up long-standing refugees with a kind of permanent residency status. It might be a long shot and it might take a lot of work, but some of you have been here a year, close to a year or over a year. This is your home and I think that should be reflected. So, I thought I'd fly the idea around you guys first and see who is interested before I opened it up to the rest of Potts Tower.
Also, we should have a taco night. I really feel like tacos.
