I'm not certain what to make of this gift. Am I meant to believe that it is the same item Booth gave to me at home, or is this some kind of joke?

I've been sent a Brainy Smurf, allegedly by the tesseract.

The cube must know something I don't. Because I got a call after leaving my paralegal training for the day that something arrived for me and I'm wearing it as we speak.

I got the chain with my late mother's wedding band and a film reel charm, the same one I bought after Randy died. Her ring is huge but the charm is major, its all I really have left of him beyond his rules for surviving a horror movie routine.

While I'm pretty much quarantined in my apartment, I need something to keep my mind off being sick...so I've decided to set up a Secret Santa (or Satan if you prefer) gift exchange. These are always fun!

Here are the rules:
Gift may be purchased or handmade - state your preference if you have one
Gifts are not to exceed $50 - but you don't have to spend that much
This is open to all ages, so gift must be age appropriate for the giftee; i.e. nothing R-rated for under 17s!
This is also open to both Tower residents and non-residents alike - including those of you in Asgard. We'll get the gifts to you somehow.

Please get these in by midnight Saturday. I'll get the assignments back to everyone on Sunday. If you're out of the area and need the present delivered to someone else, you can use me as the mailing address and I'll get it to the person.

We don't have Christmas in my world so all of this is new to me. I've enjoyed seeing the lights and other decorations but the thing that has touched me the most is the music. It's simply beautiful even if some of the songs are very sad, people wishing they were home for Christmas or wishing that someone would come home for Christmas, but my favorite ones are the ones that speak of hope, of believing that something better is coming. Those are things that I can believe in.

Because I do believe...I do hope...there is something good out there for me, for all of us.

As this semester draws to a close, I just wanted to check in and see how all of you were doing. My compliments go to Eddie Carmichael. I'll admit that I haven't spent a good deal of time with wizards, and my experience with magic is limited to soul-sucking portraits, but still. I'd be a fool not to comment on what the man can do with his wand.

Stark Resilient now has a new home. We're operating out of the Fuller Building and will be set up by the end of this week. Obviously, with all this business going on in Asgard, it's rather had to say when exactly normal operations will resume, but there it is and I'm rather impressed with how she's turning out. I should have been an interior decorator.

Tonight, I'm going to see The Nutcracker for the first time. Ballet was starting to kick off in my time, but it's still a relatively new show, in the grander scheme of things, and hadn't made it to London until a few years after I offed myself. So I'm looking forward to it.

This is so not right I was told my sisters were here? Piper? Pheebs?
