It has come to my attention this morning that one of the children at the Youth Centre has been exposed and contracted chickenpox. We weren't aware that the child had the virus, but anyone who has been to the Youth Centre within the last week may have been exposed. I would recommend that anyone experiencing symptoms to see your doctor to help ease your discomfort for the next week or so. The first notable physical symptoms are the telltale rash. However, there may be other symptoms you may dismiss before the rash shows up: fever, loss of appetite, headache, and general malaise.

I had chickenpox when I was younger, so I will offer myself as an aid to anyone who needs it. Soup, crackers, ice packs, whatever you need -- please let me know.

I do like all the sparkly lights and shiny things that are around the city right now. It makes it very pretty to look at. I do not like how cold this human body feels though.

I'm going to go help them fight. Take care of yourself while I'm gone?

Has there been any progress on finding who it was that attacked the vampire early last week?

Do you know if, when people are sent home again, they retain the information they learned here? Are they sent back to the same point in time?

Don't touch that b It's not I read the book.

As it appears that we shall several young people taking part in this battle to aid Asgard, we should focus on making certain that we bring them back safely and that they are prepared as one can be for this fight.

While we have been keeping up a training regimen here, it has been far more casual than back home. We do not have a Danger Room here, which means we are limited so far as running simulations, but I have been able to acquire a SHIELD training facility upstate from this world's Fury. It will be free of civilians and under the provision that we do not interfere with any equipment or information therein and that we allow ourselves to be evacuated if necessary. This weekend I intend to bring it a winter which would make the Nine Realms pale.

I can bring the storm, but I am asking for aid in bringing the fight and the guidance on the ground. I am also opening this exercise to any young people you know who are intent on fighting, though not particularly wishing to advertise it among them. I've rented Scott's bus.

Good afternoon. My name is Katrina Crane, and I’ve been told I will not be met with animosity for admitting to you both that I am a witch, the former leader of the coven the Sisterhood of the Radiant Heart. I know I haven’t properly met either of you, but as this matter is of some importance, I hope you’ll forgive the informalities

Since my arrival here I have been shown a great deal of kindness by a vampire named Angel who, in turn, has asked me for my help.

As you both know, this man is one of the damned. Given up to darkness, he is vulnerable to the sunlight and has asked for my assistance in finding a solution, either temporary or otherwise. I know there are ways, but I wanted to know as much as you can say about how it was done in the realm he was from. He said you might both be of some assistance, and mentioned that in your world there was a ring that allowed creatures such as himself to withstand the daylight which he destroyed.

When I woke up this morning I found a rather nasty rash on myself. Now that I've read Miss Clara's post, I do believe I have this chicken pox that she was speaking of. This is not something we have in my world and it's beginning to itch quite terribly. Is there anything anyone could recommend to ease this discomfort?

In just a few days I will have been here a year. A year of life beyond what I would have had. I suppose, on the whole, I am thankful for that. Though considering if I am ever returned to my world, life will go on and I will die, it is probably more accurate to call this stolen time.

Still, a year is more than what I would have had, so perhaps it is time to look beyond the moment and the concern that I may be returned. Certainly my employer thinks so. He has given me quite an enticing offer and one that assumes a certain amount of permanency on my part. Starting my own restaurant is certainly a risky venture, even with the backing and support of my current employer, but I have hardly shied away from risk in the past. At least if this fails, I will not be killed.

Clara has mentioned that there might be a few people who will get chicken pox. I had it when I was a kid, so I'm safe from that. I wouldn't have me nurse anyone, because I'm rubbish at it, but if anyone has need of anything, let me know. I'm trying to learn the city, so I try to get out for a few hours at the least every day. While I'm out I might as well be useful, so the offer stands for anyone sick, or even for someone who has a job and can't get out to get what they need whenever they want. I also dislike not knowing people and I figure this will give me a chance to talk to people outside of this network.

Yesterday I found a stationery shop close to Central Park. They had an impressive collection of bound journals and notebooks. I looked at one that hard a large red pansy on it; it reminded me of my mum. For years and years, since she was a little girl, she kept a journal, and she continued after she and my dad married and had me. She'd write in it for an hour each day, telling what she'd done and saw and whatever thoughts popped into her head. Sometimes she drew little pictures, and there are about a million little pictures and stories about me tucked away in all of these journals. Most of the time the journals were boring ones, with a plain black cover, but sometimes she would find one that had a flower or something on it. I got her one for her birthday one year, it had a red flower on it, and she always told me that was her absolute favourite journal to write in, ever. My dad never kept a journal until after they were married. He told me that he was always a little lonely during that hour that Mum wrote, and so he decided to try it for himself, just to see what it was that had her so enthralled. And he just never stopped, either.

When I was twelve, I had dragon pox, and mum gave me one of her unused journals. I remember I drew a lot the first few days, and then I started writing. And I wrote in one sort of regularly until a few years ago, when I broke up with Meg but I stopped. I think I'm going to start journaling again. I at least bought a few journal, so I am going to use it.

I also want to know what sort of sick fuck would write some of the books that they have written. And I wonder at the people who think that reading about the horrors that the characters in these books are put through is a jolly good time.

[Mr. Pinkman]
For the past few weeks, I've been debating what it is I ought to get you for Christmas, and it's been difficult to decide. Nothing seemed quite as meaningful or sincere as I wished it to be.

Since you've arrived here and moved in with Joan and I - I think you've not only improved the Tower but also, I certainly think you've improved my life and I wanted to do something that would reflect that change and your importance to me.

And then, all these recent discussions of guardianship, responsibility -- family.

While I don't know the specifics, and I suppose it is safe to assume there will be complications given the fact we are both refugees and not citizens -- adult adoption is entirely legal in the state of New York (so long as it is not used to legalize an adult relationship between same-sex partners) with the consent of both parties.

And so I'm asking. You feel like a son to me, and this Christmas, I'd like to be able to call you such. Or, at the very least, begin the process.

I need a concrete answer on who is going and who is not. Those are staying and can offer assistance on training, you may let myself or Storm know. How old are you all again? If any of you need permission to go, I guess you can tell anyone you have mine. Although why you would need it when we can win a fight better than half the people replying is beyond me. Just give someone my name to shut them up.

I'm staying back. If either or both of you are going, be careful. Let me know when you leave and report back to me as soon as you come back.

Welp, looks like I'm going to be doing another dating auction. Lets hope that I don't get changed into Goddess of Love again. I always like doing things for charity, so I'm honored that I was able to say yes.

I hadn't thought about just how much stuff I've managed to get in just a year here till I went to go pack a suitcase. It's so strange to think about.

[Bennett]

The tickets are in order and I've confirmed our hotel for the days we spend in the city.

Do you have a book list for the flight?

[Cosima]

Bennett and I are going to be out of the country starting Sunday morning. After running tests, we think we have a very good chance of being able to capture the memory in question during a session. If you don't want to wait, we could set up a time for tomorrow. Or the week after next for when we get back.

Though have you had any luck with the additional samples?

I'm going to go drown my woes in something girly, maybe something that comes with an umbrella, as long as it doesn't involve me taking my jeans off to get into the place that serves them. Damn you New York with your fancy ass dress codes at the bars I want to go to.

Six days after taking possession of our new offices in the Fuller Building, and I think I have all the interiors all worked out. I've hired on a temp wizard the temporary services of a full-time wizard to speed along the process whilst Pepper and Tony are in Japan next week, but I thought I'd let you all have a look at what Rory and I will be up to while you're gone, so here you are
