Finally finished my move into the extra room at Dean's need to stop typing Dead when I type his name, wtf omens? and that’s been fun. Apparently we’re the Batcave now—which of course is awesome. I’m settling in nicely to both the new room and this world. Did my shopping for the con-work, now I need to find a sewing machine for under a grand and I’ll be happy. Also, got my betta! He’s an opaque halfmoon; decided to go with him because he reminds me of the crest for Moondoor. I miss those guys, hope they’re not getting their asses handed to them right now. Hell, I hope my kingdom is okay.

I need a name for my betta. I was thinking Artemis because it’s a moon Goddess reference and it’s a SailorMoon reference of a male character instead of a female character, but it also seems a little cliché. Anyone have anything better? If not, Artemis it will be. The betta shall rest in this awesome habitat next to my brand new Hermione bobblehead; so happy I found another one!

Incident in Times Square. It looks like fear gas has been dropped, we have mass panic but there were sightings of a man in a scarecrow mask so it's possible that Crane is on scene.

All of you will take anti-fear serum before reporting on scene. This looks like a massive drop, probably everything he had left after our raid on his facility.

Medical, you are going to be on site and we're setting up a field hospital. Science and Medical, I need you there making sure outside authorities are getting the serum as well. Hallucinating civilians are bad enough, we don't need anyone in the NYPD or more vigilantes getting a dose to their system. Agent Sitwell will be coordinating you.

A non-lethal takedown is preferred but if it needs to be done, take the bastard out. But remember a dead psychopath can't be interrogated.

So I've decided what the best thing is about this place?

The water! There is so much water, it is brilliant. I mean we started to get water back in my time but it was still limited - eleven years of no rain does do that. It's blissfully amazing and I can't get enough of it.

Fall comes later here or maybe it just comes later these days. I've heard it's all getting warmer and I don't pretend to know very much about it but it stands to reason you can't do what we did and cover a whole city in soot and expect it won't make a damn bit of difference. Anyway the leaves aren't quite what I was hoping for but no one needs a reason to get out of the city not really, not any day and especially not today. I'm taking the train out to go apple picking.

Well I guess this place isn't that bad. Even with it's ancient medical equipment - stuff from the Dark Ages I tell you. I have no idea how I'm supposed to work with it but I guess I will have too. Once I secure myself a job that is.

I need to make some decisions about what I'm going to do here. One option is SHIELD. I could be a pilot with them, that seems like the obvious choice or I could be a field agent which could be interesting. Although being a pilot would let me do both. I just know that I'm getting bored doing nothing so it's time to get off my ass.

I also should seriously think about looking into another matter. That takes more guts than joining SHIELD though. Women baffle me.

I shudder to think what you'd do if you were transported to a world with no guns or terrorist attacks.

On National Coffee Day, we are reminded that anyone in this day and age can establish whatever celebration he pleases, so long as he has a Facebook account and a few friends with a bit of time to kill.

But they're not all merely frivolous: some are downright backward, like October 16's Boss's Day, or bafflingly unnecessary (e.g. Sandwich Day, Nov. 3rd - was ever there an object that required less public celebration?).

Suddenly parsnip day doesn't seem so very foolish. At least it was only a name, not a command.

Okay! With the help of this worlds planes, Hovertrain & Hovercraft I have built a floating car. It's nowhere near as good as I would have liked it to be but at least it gets off the ground right?

I've gotten the engine from a small plane connected to thrusters as well as a fan thing to blow air underneath it. Can't go fast or that high but it's something right?*

I might have to keep working on it but anyone who is interested is more than happy to help :)
