I found myself thinking about Daddy today, and who went before, Rogues and Wraiths and how long his list is.

When I joined Wraith Squadron, I started my own list. The first name on it, was the first leader of our generation of Wraiths. Bhindi...I drank one for you tonight since I couldn't blow anything up.

Hi! I guess we were friends before. I don't remember any of it, obviously, but Drew told me we hung out when I was here before this, so... yeah. Wow, this is awkward, but you were my favorite part of your books and I was wondering if you might want to.. go have lunch or something?

It's also a little awkward having a roommate who you're supposed to be good friends with, only you haven't met her yet. You couldn't have maybe taken me from a time when all of this would make a little more sense, huh, Tesseract?

In case you missed it, Hermione and I went camping. One of my more brilliant ideas, if I do say so. It was nice and peaceful and just what we both needed. We're back now, obviously. It's kind of odd hearing all these city noises after so many days of peace and quiet.

Off to the deli. Come by and get a sandwich, yeah? They're really tasty and my day will go quicker if we're busy.

So I realised yesterday, that I was angry. Upset with barbecues and parades, upset with remembrance because all it seemed to do, was make it glaringly obvious how much people have forgotten. I don't even mean the fields of bloated unburied dead or the millions that suffered on either side, of any war.

I mean the homeless veterans on the streets now. The men who fought and didn't die, those who returned damaged, either physically or mentally, those who are forgotten every day, who don't march in polished parades, but those who sit alone. Who die alone. Who don't remember what they fought for because they gave themselves up for a country that no longer saw them fit to reap the benefits.

I spent my day with Septimus, doing out best to hand out lunches to those veterans who need to know that they haven't been forgotten. I wanted to tell them that I was sorry.

I think I've always been a rather introspective person, honestly, and it might be Scudder's influence, but lately I've be valuing action over reflection -- I have the ability to do, and therefore I must.

My name is Hestia Jones, I come from England, and I work(ed?) at J. Pippin's Potions. I also come from a book series called Harry Potter. I'm still a bit confused and weirded out by all that. I live on the fourth floor in room 403.

I'm working on a way to catch that pesky pigeon! So if anyone is in the lobby look out for the tools and stray parts, let's just say in spite of the bird this is the most fun I've had in ages.

I almost feel at home with all the navy around lately. Lots of military pride with Memorial Day and all. It's no Alliance or space worthy vessel but hey a ship is a ship. Worked damn hard to get on one, kind of miss it really. Still it's nice to see people who signed up to defend. Makes me think about my dad. Shame I can't visit him here.

I put in request to get his stuff from SHIELD, but thoughts on auctioning a few of his things off to donate to a charity? I wouldn't want to get rid of all of his clothes and stuff in case he comes back, but I think he'd grudgingly agree to letting a few pieces go.

I need paid employment: experience fighting supervillains, working technology, poor experience with law enforcement (lapd, civil war). Recommendations please.

Hey everyone. So it's Laura Kinney's 18th birthday on the 30th, and since I don't know all of her friends, I thought I'd open up this invitation to everyone who knows her. I'll either be hosting a birthday party here in mine & Humberto's room, or we'll move to the common room on the 13th floor if we get a lot of people wanting to come.

I'm taking care of dinner and dessert, but it'd help a lot if anyone else coming could either bring some snacks or help me out with dinner or chip in for a ca. One more week of SHIELD training before I'm back to flying. I've never gone this long without my own prowler before. I'll just be glad to be working and of some use again. I don't feel entirely at home here on Earth, but I know I'll feel at home up there. Just one more week.

The only reason I know who Kristen Wiig is is because I walked in on my son watching that sophomoric obscenity she tried to pass off as a comedy.

I'd file a suit for defamation if my lawyer knew the difference between libel and liability.

After riding in a convertible I think I might finally understand the appeal of cars. I still think they're a metal deathtrap, but a fun metal deathtrap. Now to remove the thousand tangles my hair seems to have found itself in.

I suppose most people know. I mean, most people knew about my story before I did, right? So most people know about my hair. I've been told all my life that people would hurt me to use it, but I want to let everyone here know that I'd gladly use my gift to help, you only have to ask.

But... it may not work with everyone. I'm very sorry if we try it and it doesn't work, I don't know why it didn't work as well with Matty. It did somewhat, but not the way it usually does.
