DARCY'S FOURTH ANNUAL POTTS/STARK NERF WAR

What that means:

Last Man Standing. Spans over BOTH towers, for people who are over in Stark's tower for work and whatnot. Biology/Chemistry type labs are OFF LIMITS. You won't like Bruce when he's angry.

Everyone is going to get a nerf gun & a tag attached to their door on the morning of Friday, March 22nd. IT WILL LAST UNTIL THERE IS ONE PERSON LEFT. Usually takes about 48 hours.

IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE, attach the tag to your persons whenever you are in the tower, IT HAS TO BE VISIBLE.

If you don't want to join in, don't wear a tag and surrender your gun to me.

NO SHOOTING UNTAGGED PEOPLE. Likewise, no hiding your tag. If you want to play, be fair about it.

ANYWAY. If you shoot someone with a tag fairly, you get their tag and so on and so forth. If they have 5 tags from people they killed, you get all of them. Winner is whoever has the most tags in the end FROM FAIR KILLS. Seriously, don't be a cheating douchebag.

OH AND because this needs to be said; No modding your guns. At all. (I'm looking at you, Mass Effect people.) Extra ammo is your responsibility - each gun comes with 6. Take the ammo from your "kills".

NO POWERS. Sorry about this one, but if you've GOT powers, at least TRY not to use them. Like no Force, or telepathically convincing someone to come out, or telekentically blocking doorways, that sort of thing. You should know what's right and wrong. This includes NO DRONES OR MECHANICAL HELP YOU BUILD.

Some tips;

Watch out for the spies & shooter people (No joke, they are scary MOFOs and usually win. Don't be sore about it, most of them save lives etc etc).

Don't shoot people who are carrying coffee. OW.

Well, that's over. Hopefully, there will be no more inquiries as to whether or not I'm Irish. Seems we got a bit fortuitous with Wash showin up. Got a call back on some land I put some interest into not long ago, so I placed a bid to get things rollin. Now, I got time to get that money back if I need to, but if I get interest from folk, I'll go through with buyin it.

I went to Bach's B Minor Mass on Saturday - alone, of course, not that I wanted the company, obviously - and when the idiot beside me whipped out his mobile during the Sanctus to try to get a picture of me reading my program, I hoped, for a moment, that a decidedly unexceptional panel of vocalists was about to be livened up. The same conductor, after all, stopped Mahler's 9th last year for nothing more than a ringtone, so one would have thought that flash photography and the harassment of a third-row patron would have been enough to suspend operations for a few moments of well-directed shaming.

Instead, the show went on and the Klonopin-addicted socialite in the second row turned around to shush me when I told my neighbour exactly what he could do with his camera phone.

I confess I had higher expectations for Mr. Gilbert. I had expected something like a kindred spirit.

The water in the shower is no longer warm. What else can be done in this place for amusement or entertainment?

Fake shooting at people just doesn't seem as fun as the real thing.

Despite this whole operation appearing to be quite official and highly expensive, I'm still not sure I understand why it was remotely vital to drag me here, when being surrounded by unfamiliar drunk people would have been equally achievable and doubtlessly a lot easier in Wales.
