Because this game is massive, and even if every character just sent ONE package to anyone, it would end up being so many posts that it would overrun the game. So to save our friends lists from imploding, we the moderators are asking that you fill out this form and reply HERE. It'll make it easier to find (Control-F is a lovely thing!) and we won't have to abuse our scroll button. Here's how we're going to do it. You will post for one character with everything that they got for their friends/family/etc. Make sure to tag your character and all the characters that yours gave gifts to as soon as you get their information up! In recognition of the time it can take to determine IC gifts, (properly tagged) gifts can count as a piece of activity for the gifting character for the month of December. |
Is there anything I can get you while I am in England or Europe?
Did you pick up one of the elves?
I think we're all aware of what's happening on the news. I thought about getting a group of us together to go down and see if we can help at Virginia Beach, but I'm thinking what's probably better is for us to stay here and do patrol in NYC.
Now if any of you are already down at Virginia Beach, that's fine, but for those of you who aren't, and who aren't typically scheduled to patrol on Friday evening, if you're available and willing, let's get you out there too. Stuff like this happens and people get scared and stuff happens, and if we can help keep things from happening then that'll make this city a little better.
Just keep in mind that it may not be supernatural types causing trouble and treat accordingly.
Any questions on this?
I'd like for us to plan to spend this month doing a check-up on each of the werewolves that we have that are native to this world. I know that we've had contact with them and have helped them with safety procedures and access to polyjuice for those who wish it. Since they aren't coming in to see us though, I'd like to insure that those precautions are still in place.
Can I get a couple of volunteers for each one to go and check on them, ask how they're doing, let them know if they need support we can offer it - that sort of thing?
For those of you who may have joined after we had that fiasco, these were native populations that were turned by Greyback, the wolf from the Harry Potter universe, when he somehow managed to sneak through under the radar. If you are not familiar with the werewolf lore from Harry Potter I suggest that you become familiar with it before volunteering and there are books and materials and notes, including many from Remus Lupin, at the shop.
And I have some treats for us a little later. Even if you don't want to enjoy scary movie, etc. It isn't a Wolfram and Hart bash, but I think we'll enjoy the evening.
There's something my husband and I would like to run by the two of you.
We are currently a very small floor - and there is no one currently living on floors 23, and I am a bit behind the times with decorating.
However I have some good stock at Widdershins - ghost decorations and the like, and if you'd join me this evening we could put some of those up and enjoy them for the remainder of the season. If anyone has additional ideas that might help us win this contest I'm open for them, but my creativity may be a bit low at the moment.
If you've got a moment I'd like to pick your brain a bit for more information about your world.
I want to thank each of you that came to our potluck and for your ideas and suggestions. For now we'll keep patrol schedules similarly, but I would like for our research group to begin working on a document to explain what we do and the type of known creatures for future comers.
So - we have a wedding. What do we need to do?
