So I was just wonderin: how many of us folk are from space? And if you are, what kinda space are you from? Did you fly around in a ship? Did you grow up on a different planet? What was it like? I wanna hear all bout it. I wish I were on Serenity again, even if she were grounded

So, I was thinking. You know what the PTYC needs? A music program. You've got games and tutoring and counseling and all kinds of awesome things going on. But music and the Arts are totally getting the shaft.

Star Trek people

How many of you have seen the movie that the alternative universe hails from and are aware of the other universe the rest of us come from? I have just watched the movie myself and was surprised at exactly how many differences there was.

Space People

Since I arrived here there were some advances with Earth's space travel but it is still incredibly basic. I have been thinking, would it be wrong to work with NASA or the other company to advance them? I do not know about you but I do miss being in space. This is the first time in four years that I've spent any amount of time on the ground and while I am growing used to it, it is definitely odd.

I got a job. I was wandering around the city yesterday and I found a bakery by that big park. Central Park? It's just a little shop that's been run by the same family for a long time, but the owners are getting older and their kids didn't want to bake, and they told me the economy has been hard on them. Their granddaughter recognized me and said I could bake, so I showed them. I felt really bad taking their money for this when they don't have a lot to spare, but I told them they can advertise my cheese bread and cakes if it would help, so that's what we're going to do. They're okay with me staying in the back and not dealing with any customers. The attention is really distracting for everyone, so it's better this way.

It's called Stella's. I have to go back tomorrow morning. I hope I can help

I've blown up my fourth alarm clock since I've moved here. The universe is clearly telling me that I should sleep in. Or that I have unresolved issues with timepieces.

One of my New Year's Resolutions was to be more helpful in the house, so I went grocery shopping today for Aunt May. Except I got too many eggs, too much bacon (is there ever enough bacon, though?) and too many veggies.

Time to eat my way through all of this, I guess.

I'm just curious; How many of you are not from Earth?

Everyone's going to end up thinking all I do is repeat myself, but with so many damn people here now, enough people missed the last time I talked about the bar that it's necessary. Think there's more people in this building than in all of Bon Temps now, and I could use a day off.

I'm Sam Merlotte, and I'm the manager of, you guessed it, Sam's Bar & Grill. We've got good food, good drinks, a couple of rooms you can reserve for private parties (for no rental cost, just the cost of food, alcohol and gratuity, which is a deal you won't get anywhere else in the city, unless you do all the work yourself), open mic nights on Fridays, football on all the televisions. All I ask is that there's no fighting, and you keep the dancing to a minimum and not hog the room.

Now, to the important things. If anyone's in need of a job and has experience working in a restaurant or bar, I'd love to talk to you.
-Host/hostess - 17+
-Bouncer/security - 18+, must be able to physically remove people from the premises if necessary, because I don't want to have to get Thor every time I need that done.
-Bartenders - 18+
-Waiters/Waitresses - 18+
-Cooks/food prep - 17+

These age limits are there because we serve alcohol, so if you're under 18, you can't handle it whatsoever. Not bending on this one. Blame the law, not me. And for the love of God, please don't try to lie to us and get a drink if you're under age. It won't go well.
