The Bugle wanted me to interview fellow refugees. From the sound of it, they were going to spin this into you guys stealing the jobs of the people who were actually born here… They told me to focus on people outside of “super hero crap” and the Tower’s shops.

Now they're more interested in the fear gas. I think I'm going to just write in that everyone's greatest fear was unicorns. Jameson was also asking if I can go to a "normal" doctor due to the fact that me and Luke are super-strength-y. I told him it was none of his damn business. (Spoiler, I haven't, I've been going to SHIELD medical and it's embarrassing as hell).

It sucks that everyone is moving out and I can barely afford a new pair of pants, let alone an apartment. On the bright side, my nursery is coming along. It's the girliest thing in my apartment. Because if my daughter wants to be a pretty princess, so help me God, she's going to be one. But if she wants to be a king, that's all right too. Royalty, bitches!

I'm going to paint it a purpley-pink this weekend. 1. Does anyone want to come up and paint something on the walls? 2. Will someone come up and check on me, make sure I didn't pass out from the fumes?

Sometimes I forget my father's dead. It's easy to do here. Just visiting, home still a snapshot from the last time we were all there at once. His smile and my mother's laugh, wet with wine and glowing in warm orange candlelight. And a wicked glint in my brother's eye and my sister's baby blonde curls just peeking over the table as he chased her.

And then I remember that no matter how much I practise, I will never open a door to them.

But I have learned to open doors to friends, so that's a small victory to be proud of. And it's all right to grieve and be happy at the same time.

I totally suck at this making friends thing.

So I've been a bit quiet these past few days, haven't I? I think for the first time in a very long time, I've legitimately felt as though my opinion doesn't matter. It's not really a bad thing, actually, it's a bit liberating.

I do, however, have somewhere to be tonight and if security gives me much of a hard time, they will be getting a very solid earful of my opinions.

Engineers of Stark Tower, I have need of your abilities. I have discovered an uncanny device at a local eatery and it has given me an idea.

I would like one of these built large enough to carry grown adults, with a handle atop it that I may grasp.

If I am able to sort out how to add a graphic. There, I believe that is how to do it.

I know this is redundant, but if anyone needs anything. Anything at all. Even something stupid, like if you're sitting on the couch and can't reach the remote. If you need a cup of tea or some company. Have you eaten? I'm ghosty so I can be there quick like.
