2015 christmas gifts

Because this game is massive, and even if every character just sent ONE package to anyone, it would end up being so many posts that it would overrun the game. So to save our friends lists from imploding, we the moderators are asking that you fill out this form and reply HERE. It'll make it easier to find (Control-F is a lovely thing!) and we won't have to abuse our scroll button.

Here's how we're going to do it. You will post for one character with everything that they got for their friends/family/etc. Make sure to tag your character and all the characters that yours gave gifts to as soon as you get their information up!

In recognition of the time it can take to determine IC gifts, (properly tagged) gifts can count as a piece of activity for the gifting character for the month of December.

Did everyone adopt a dog? Heaven help us if there's a flea outbreak. I don't even think I could keep a goldfish alive. ~~Plus they're in water and that's fuckin weird~~ ~~But I bet they're relaxing to watch~~ ~~Fuck it, I'm getting a fish~~

So like, what exactly is Veterans Day? I'd Google it but I want to hear it from a person. It's for soldiers? I lost a friend in a war. And someone else I know lost their sister, she wasn't even fighting. She was a medic.

I would have fought too, but they wouldn't let me.

I need help. I came home from the shelter yesterday with two dogs instead of one. They were curled up together when I came in and they came to greet me together and so they came home together.

That's not the part I need help with, obviously. The problem is, only one of them has a name. The little girl on the left (the black one) is Liberty. I'm calling her Libby for short. But the boy doesn't have a name. I need suggestions. Any ideas?

So. Pros:

The pizza here seems just as good. If it tasted like dog food or whatever, that would just be an unforgivable.

I'm not picking bugs out of my teeth -- which is way more than I can say for some dimensions I've landed in.

SHIELD is way cooler here. No fancy bracelets this time. Pro-tip? Add some color to your wardrobe.

It's almost thanksgiving.

I'm still Hawkeye and I'm still awesome.

A distinct lack of teeth faced people.

Cons:

It's almost winter.

Past experience leads me to believe there will be teeth faced people here somewhere.

People on the street are still way grumpy.

It gets cold here earlier than at home. I might have to start living indoors like normal people. The technology here is still so weird to me. Fancier than I'm used to, but not as advanced as the highest end stuff from home. There are these little packets you bend and they get warm. Useful.

I find myself yearning for the mountains. Dwarves were not meant to live under the sky, we were made to live under the mountains, seeking the gifts of metals and precious stones that Mahal left within the earth and turning those things in objects of great beauty and usefulness. I am not ungrateful for the accommodations that have been provided. Mr Stark is a generous host and a fine example of the Men of this world but I miss the solidity of stone around me and the soaring halls of my ancestors.

It was good to face a mighty foe and strike him down once again, though I found the happenings on the weekend to be decided strange. What world do such monstrous creatures come from? They were fierce enemies. I sustained some small wounds that the healers fussed over far too much. Dwarves heal well. We were made to endure. I am just glad to return to my forge.
