Oh and I walked into my apartment to find someone there. A kind of cute someone but still a someone. Guess they placed me with a roommate to fill the second bedroom while I was gone. It's just my luck! I was kind of loving living alone for once.

For those of you knew her, my friend Ashley Boyd is gone. Think I'm just going to donate some of Alex's baby clothes and toys, minus the ones she played with a lot. Don't see anything wrong with putting those into storage in case they come back.

Popcorn is popped, got my twizzlers all in a row and other junk food type candy. Glass of wine and my chick flick collection. Sounds like a good night to me.

As with most fables, there is a moral here.

This has been my first winter in about two years, five if you're choosing to think about the idea it was 2008-2009. Mostly I think about it every time it gets real cold out there, and I can't remember it being cold in a long time, even Louisiana cold. And that's well above freezing, let me tell you. I'd just pull on the Merlotte's pants and wrap a jacket around me, and I'd be good. Now, I don't mean to be complaining here, and that's not what this is about. I finished building my room at Dr. Strange's a while ago now. And I think I'm going to try for something more: a garden, where it's warm and sunny all the time, like the fairy dimension in the cemetery, with fewer gravestones. There's no guarantee I'll be able to do that before it gets proper warm around here, but if I do, I'm welcome to sharing it with some company now and again, to anyone that misses the sun and warmth like I do.

Heads up, I'll be around the tower again. While I was gone, according to Leah, Tom vanished on us. I hope he's picking up in a good place back in his world.

I have some things I need to talk to you all about, what's everyone doing this weekend? Saturday, around 7PM?

Okay, rethinking Mexico thanks to a couple of people. Maybe I'll do Jamaica or The Bahamas. Yes, that sounds more relaxing.

UGH! Bad week is all I'm going to say. I could use a Vacation, I'm thinking Mexico. I need to just lay on the beach with a tropical drink in hand and not have to worry about work and deadlines.
