So, right. Tesseract, doorway between... well, places, and other places, got my own apartment, new telly, and oh, guess what? Apparently, I'm not real. Anyone who thinks that, please, stick out your neck and you can feel how real my teeth are. Yes, yes, I know. I got the whole, no biting people lecture. Can't a man have a bit of fun anymore?

I'm quite sure I've gotten over my fear of aeroplanes. Not because I find flying any less terrifying, but because I'm quite sure it's the fucking airports that will be the death of me. What with all the congestion and delays they're still trying to sort out, it's maddening. I won't be doing that again any time soon.

Why did I let Connor talk me into doing this date auction thing? That kid's got me wrapped around his finger. I hope it raises a lot of money -- not because a low selling price would bruise my ego, okay maybe a little but because my embarrassment should be worth quite a bit.

There won't be any singing or dancing, though. Let's stick to the kind of embarrassment that won't drive half the audience away with their hands over their ears or eyes.

Well. The LSAT is this Saturday, and I'm officially going into full-on studying mode until Friday night. (I know I've basically been in that mode anyway, but still.)

If you could hold all apocalypses, bombshells, and other emergencies until Saturday afternoon, I'd really appreciate it. That's more for the tesseract than for any of you, but all the same. And that said, if the world does start ending and I'm needed to stop it, I'll I don't really know what I'll do, actually Also mostly joking. But also, not quite.

I've never done Thanksgiving before. Unless you count creeping around outside of And somehow this year I did three. It was... bizarre. But good. I think I could get used to a little human normalcy. Cordelia would be so proud.

It'd be better if she could be proud here, but I'm not gonna complain about who the Tesseract sent in her absence. Can we make this a tradition? Old friends showing up on holidays?

I'm going out of town for a few days. There's a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the Catskills that's willing to host me for the weekend, and, well... I could really stand to take a step back from my life right now. I'm not sure when I stopped meditating regularly -- probably somewhere around Wolfram & Hart or maybe when Jasmine was -- but I think it'll do me some good to start up again. I'll have my cell phone for about an hour or two a day, so I won't be completely out of touch if anyone needs me.
