I CAN'T FIND MY SHOES. I need them for an interview with Columbia, they wanted me to come in. I have no idea if I'm in or not, but I figure an interview is a good thing. I just can't find my shoes that I want to wear. Pink heels. OMG.

I just saw a commercial for s'mores cereal. This sounds like a thing that should be looked into. Also, it kind of makes me want to go camping again sometime soon.

I am so, so sorry! I know that wasn't a fun way to wake up. I really don't know what happened.

I just got an invitation and a ton of beautiful dresses to the Todashi Shoji show on the 6th. This is so crazy. These dresses are priceless. Well, I'm sure not priceless, but each one is stunning. I have to pick one. That's like asking someone to just eat one m&m.

Did anyone else get invitations? Is this normal?

Tomorrow afternoon I'm thinking about going to the Museum at the FIT to look at their exhibit on trends. It just seems like the sort of thing that could be fun - possibly hysterical depending on the trends and the time. Like, Buffy I'm really hoping they'll have this skirt so I can take lots of pictures of your fashion choices in a museum.

Anyway - point is does anyone want to join me? Fashion through the ages? Trends? Maybe some inspiration or something?

There's something tragically unfair about being kidnapped by a blue cube at the beginning of your summer vacation AND being brought through time so that you completely skip over said vacation. I mean, I was going to have a glorious three months away from school and I missed it!

But at least some of the classes they're offering here are kind of cool. And I am so, so glad to be in New York. I signed up for a technology class, because computers are really, really different here from what I'm used to.

Now I just need to find a JOB. My show budget demands it. I had this cool internship with Interview magazine back home, but obviously the people I worked for there don't actually exist here, so that might be a little awkward if I tried to go to work like normal.

These college catalogs are so much fun to look at, and I am sure I will find the right classes. I got into Columbia, NYU, and Harvard, but not Yale. I have not decided on a school yet. But I am feeling more like Columbia or NYU, since I will still be able to be in New York. Maybe Yale will happen one day.

In the meantime, looking over all the classes options I have is quite fun. There are just so many I'm interested in.

I've kinda lost track of all the people here and what everyone can do in the last month, between finals and the holidays and then basically just zoning out for the last couple weeks. But since there are a bunch of people here with different kinds of abilities and I might not have talked to you before, it's worth asking.

Can anyone fly? Without the use of, you know, a plane. I used to go with a good friend of mine, but I haven't had any company here for a while, and I miss it. It doesn't have to be really fast. Sometimes it's nice to slow down and be able to talk, not just race around.

That New Years Eve party was AMAZING! I'm so glad I went!

Now that 2014 is officially here, I think my number one resolution is to find a job. I've only been here for a week and I know I have school here (which is so weird, because it was the beginning of summer vacation at home, but it was also 1984, which is even weirder), but it would be great to have some spending money. This is definitely not a cheap city to live in.

What about the rest of you? What are your resolutions for 2014?

It's been pointed out that we need another snowball fight, since there is fresh snow all over the damned place.

Violet, get out the cannon, we're going to need it. Anyone else who wants to participate, we'll go again at Rockefeller park, noon tomorrow. It's still going to be cold, so wear your best warm-weather gear and we'll see who wins this time.

Breaking in my New Years Shoes. Like you do!

I can't believe it's almost New Years! I know there has to be something fun going on, because it's NEW YORK, but the question is what? Is there anything going on here in the tower or should I go looking outside of the building for a good party?

Shopping for a new wardrobe in Manhattan on a budget of $1000. Some of which I should probably save for things like food.

This is going to be an adventure.
