Right then! Just wanted to pop on now that I've got a bit more of a handle on things, and say a heartfelt cheers and thanks to those that helped me during my quite ghastly arrival. Even those of you that laughed at me - hope to have brought some humor for your day.

I never got to make proper introductions, all said. I'm Si Robin Blyth, I come from the same ah- time? place? world? These things go over my head - as Edw Ms. Violet Debenham, and Mr. Edwin Courcey, but! If you hadn't guessed by my previous blundering, I am not lucky enough to be as gifted as they are with magic, just stumbled into it by accident and then ended up with unexpected psychic abilities! Though, I've learned that having foresight really isn't that helpful at all, in the end, especially not when they couldn't even warn me I'd be walking into a but apparently I'm not the only one of my kind here?

It is nice being able to say that part to the general public! So far I've heard of the same-sex marriages, the fact that women have far more freedom, and experienced now the indoor plumbing and hot showers on command. Tell me of more wonders? What am I missing? I've become acquainted with several bars and taverns since my arrival so that part is covered now do your worst.

It's Adaine's birthday!! And my SUPER amazing and co-worker and all around GREAT friend requested ice cream for it, so it's time for a very low-key but still celebratory but also low stress and not making too much of a big deal but a big enough deal because birthdays are important but again like, as long as everyone is having fun ice cream crawl! --Gelato Glitz (true story the owner is related to the pixie who owns the coffee shop which is very cool and there's literally edible glitter in EVERYTHING, sometimes they'll add in extra effects too, my Pop Rocks scoop had sparkles flying around it it was super cool)
--Barsar's (ask him about his bocce ball league, also, get the homemade waffle cone)

Ah-- Hello, good morning. I know that it is early for most, but well. I seem to have lost track of the hour.

A thought occurred to me in the night while I was trancing. It--well If you are unfamiliar, it is something that my variation of elves can do, wherein we do not have to sleep and instead go into a meditative trance and do exercises--it hardly matters, but I generally go over thoughts of whatever I am working on or Ca so my thoughts were lingering on this issue we have been going over regarding the portal beast since yesterday and--

I apologize, I did not actually finish my trance and am surviving on coffee and hope at the moment.

Anyway, I had a thought, specifically from the transmutation books that Prigany brought and a few specific runes that those idiots the culprits had tried to use and everything else surrounding the situation and, this might sound mad and I will need someone or a few someones to look over my work, but I am certain that they somehow managed to turn a waypoint crystal into the creature that we have been dealing with today and all of the portals and its glitching and disappearing are stemming from the fact that the magic of the waypoints just shouldn't be within something living and breathing like that.

As I said, I am humble enough to want someone to look over what led me to this conclusion as I have all of the work to show for it, but my humbleness ends at a point as I do have confidence here. There is nowhere for us to send the creature, as they were created and are truly from our Vallo. Perhaps this is something to confirm with them, if communication is at all possible?

But, ah--that is all. It feels as though this narrows our options.

Uh Hello! Hi.

It looks like this odd power switching thing is pretty widespread so I'm assuming someone has my own abilities? I don't really know how to narrow that down, but I'm a wizard and oracle by trade, so--magic? Specifically magic that involves seeing the future and having visions in an oracle/psychic sort of way. But I wanted to ask a favor of whoever this person might be that if you have any visions can you write them down? They are usually fairly mundane, but I keep a journal of them for tracking purposes and so I can see if there is any correlation between them, make sure they came true, that sort of thing. They aren't always straightforward to interpret, so I've been collecting data over the years to get better. It is like a dream journal, except I don't really dream because I don't really sleep.

Anyway, I apologize. This is a lot of rambling.

(also in case anyone IS wondering about the dirt cake Oreos, they're pretty good but the sprinkles are really hard to see and have no flavor so they're just there as a gummy worm homage, and there's dual creme which is nice even if I think crushed up Oreos in Oreo creme is a little like eating a chicken omelet lololololol look they're delicious because I love Oreos BUT maybe not the most clever)

Hi! So I'm Kai, and it seems like introductions are next on my list of things to do? I may have met some of you before if you've ever ventured down to Atlantis or but ✨surprise✨ I live here now! You know, I'd never been to Downtown Vallo before? There is so much to see and do, and so much food we didn't have in Atlantis. Only sort of judging all of you eating at the seafood place (sort of, but not really, I'm not judgy by nature to be honest), but spaghetti? I could eat it literally every day. 10/10 would recommend.

Anyway, I'm rambling and nervous but but I'm currently taking recommendations for what to check out next. What does Vallo have that Atlantis could never compete with?

Hi, everyone. I’m sure you’re all aware of the very recent round of vanishing friends and family again. The DOA has received reports from Vallo PD of a rash of locals disappearing again as well. It looks like we’re dealing with another portal, likely the one I’m sure we’ve all seen hovering over the mountaintops.

I received word from Keith Kogane a few minutes ago that he’d taken the Black Lion up to take a closer look through the portal. He reported seeing nothing more than stars and darkness but received readings of a lack of oxygen as he ventured out farther.

It is the DOA’s belief that, much like last month, the missing are on the other end of this new portal. With that in mind, please reply if you meet the following criteria:

You would like to be a member of the rescue team.

You have a usable spacecraft and are open to transporting teammates through the portal.

We’re going to move on this as quickly and efficiently as we can. Those who reply should report at 4:30 PM with packed bags here: [mountain coordinates].

Eat some Oreos, take care of yourself, and tell people you love them. It doesn't solve anything, but I think it helps a little.

I don't know if you saw, but, there was a mission yesterday to rescue our people who had been captured. Gansey's okay, I didn't get to see him a lot during it but I think he has some bumps and bruises.

Ronan was hurt more. It was pretty chaotic but I think he was limping when I saw him.

I figured you'd want to know, and if you could pass it along?

Testing, testing. Are you getting this? We're using my connection to the Black Lion and the quintessence tech in my arm to form a bridge between the networks. Basically, we're playing telephone through a giant sentient spaceship. Stop by and thank him for me? I'm sure he's stressed by all of this.

Anyway, assuming someone is reading this, on the other side of the portal is a parallel Vallo. We've made contact with a group of Outlanders here and confirmed that they are alternate versions of some of our lost people. Most of them have lived here for years and some have different memories of their home worlds. They've formed a rebellion against another group, made up of more of our lost people. They call themselves the Court of Revenants and they're the reason this message is filtered as best as I can get it.

Please be aware that Council members might look like someone you've lost, but they have apparently taken control of this Vallo through force and terror. There is a stalemate between the Council and the Rebels because any physical violence here creates what they call Echoes - spectral enemies that attack anyone close by and only stop when the fighting stops.

Now I'm sure you're wondering where our Outlanders are. I've been told the people here suffered a violent headache and a flash of memories that then faded when the portal opened on this side. It can't be a coincidence. I suspect our people are tangled up metaphysically with their counterparts. I have no idea how to separate them. If you have any theories, please don't be shy.

As for the rescue team, everyone is accounted for and safe. Our focus right now is planning a recovery mission. A few rebels were taken captive just before we arrived. Keith is We will get them back. Rebels + Vallo Outlander Arrivals

Okay this was all a lot today, but now that our [...] guests have been given the rundown, you all have your devices, we can answer some of your questions. I think we're all adjusting, so just bear with us. For some of us, it's been a long time since we've seen you. In some instances, if ever.

I'm also going to reiterate, please don't leave our location without bringing one of us with you. This isn't the Vallo you know and what we're dealing with is pretty shitty, so until we can figure out a larger plan, staying put is going to be safest. It's not just the Echoes. The last of the Flerkens we'd managed to gather up and bring to the Castle disappeared around midnight last night. I got to witness that wide awake - one second they were climbing all over me, the next they were gone. Almost like Minus the d It looks like they were just temporary visitors after all. They had a great time while they were here, and I know they soaked up every bit of affection they got from everyone who came by to hang out; thanks to those who brought them in and came by to play with them.

The kitten Goose brought back to the house was still there when I got home, though, so I'm guessing any home invaders you brave and/or crazy people took in are sticking around. If anyone can't handle full-time Flerken ownership, let me know. And don't mind Goose prowling around to check on her spawn sometimes. She's her own boss, what can I say. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Soooo... if anyone wants to come help round up some of these tentacle cats at Boyd's that'd be great. I counted at least eight, possibly more. Five for sure have run off somewhere in the shop with various tools which I'd love to get back to, you know, do work. Menaces. Completely adorable, but menaces still the same.
