So I just saw a guy walking down the street with a fully functional metal arm. Is that like, something anyone can get, or do you have to be some sort of super badass? Because I've been rocking this hook hand for a couple of weeks now and like, it's nice, I'm all about the pirate aesthetic, but there's something to be said about being able to tie my own shoelaces.

So hey, did anyone else show up here with a bunch of people from the same universe as you, where you guys remember more or less the exact same things except with a couple of little differences?

And by a couple of little differences, I mean some pretty major differences.

I've got a place where I go and stay cooped up for the night and then the next morning I get to play a game called "but did you eat your jeans again, Nick" and demolish like twenty pancakes after. You don't have to worry about--

Guess what! Since we have so many more kids than usual, Art of Expression is launching a special session of ART CAMP!!!

Instead of our usual signups, this time we're just doing show-ups! Starting this morning, kids from 5 to 12 will be with me in The Big Classroom at Cloud Recesses, and we'll have a super great time playing with all kinds of media, including paints and pastels and clay! There's room for all ability and experience levels, so if you want to make art, just come on up the mountain!

If you're bringing a kid, make sure they wear something they can get messy, and pack a lunch. If they need any special accommodations, just let me know and I will make it happen.

And if there are any kids who see this and want to come but don't have an adult yet, just pipe up! We'll find someone to show you the way here and make sure you've got a good lunch.

Annnnnnnnnd any of our suddenly-teenagers need stuff to do (or our regular teenagers, for that matter), I wouldn't mind an extra hand child-wrangling, so like...hmu if you need extra activities. How do you turn down an invitation to a vampire orgy without being rude? Do you think I can say "I'm sorry, I have a boyfriend"?

Also, what do I do with a sign that implies I love wine and don't like my husband?

I always thought it would be cool to be friends with vampires, and they do seem nice in their way, but now my main goal is to not get eaten. Is it true that they really like virgins?

Hey, does anybody have a minute to come out to the art building on campus and help me with a little problem? I'm so sorry to be a bother, I know everybody's busy, but there's this goose, and I think maybe it's possessed by demons or it's a vicious weregoose or something??? If it IS a vicious weregoose I'm in trouble, because the darn thing bit me.

Or maybe this is just what normal geese are like? I don't know, I'm from the city, we don't just have geese hanging out. But I tried to just get out of its way, and it CHASED ME, and now it has me cornered by the dumpster behind the sculpture studio and it won't let me leave. Every time I try it starts flapping and snapping and HONKING.

Anyway, the point is, please come help, this is really not cool.

The Ides of March are upon us. And while I'm as stab-happy as the next person, and Caesar probably deserved it by at least one of those senators because men, we're not celebrating the death of a Roman dictator but the birthday of Henry Cheng, who would only appreciate if we did it in style.

Mandatory: wearing a toga. Not mandatory: owning your own toga because sheets will be provided if you wimp out. Location: Monmouth. Gansey pulled the pool table out and bought unnecessary Roman-style chaises. I'm not going to stop anyone from wanting to be historically accurate either, but I draw the line at not wearing undergarments. Those are required to be on for entry.

I got super busy with turning the castle into a venue and keeping a business going (and you know.. learning along the way too), that I have been slacking so much on my YouTube channel. You would think I'd have a wide variety to talk about between lycanthropy and making knives and just general Fen-related questions but I have absolutely hit a wall and don't know what to write. :( :(

Anyone got suggestions for YouTube topics? Or what to do when you hit some kind of mental block?

Alright, had the most pathetic weirdest Christmas and New Years Eve of my life. Anyone got any suggestions on what I should be doing here? I don't think anyone wants me working in hospitality.

My Pictureworks project looks hideous, all the algebra has fallen out of my brain, my final paper for Composition is only half done, I screwed up my bibliography on the other paper, and the end of the semester is SO SOON. I need options other than "cry more" and "swear at a computer" and "eat every snack." Pls halp.

Also if anybody is good with word processing programs and can figure out what the hell I did to my bibliography to make the indents do what they're doing, I will draw literally anything you want for you.

I've been thinking, or overthinking, about Halloween.  It must be the pumpkin spice latte I'm drinking.  It's making me wonder - I haven't been in Vallo long enough to know what happened last Halloween.  Is it cool to wear traditional costumes -  like witches, zombies, aliens, devils?   Or would that be offensive to actual witches, demons, etc?
