Be on the look out for Iris! I found her trying to sabotage the escape pods. When I tried to stop her, she fucking stabbed me in the shoulder!

Let me preface this post by saying I know what I'm discussing here will make people uncomfortable. Trust me when I say it's necessary information, and I am not letting any command withhold any more vital information.

Captain Alarie has been found on his ship. Unfortunately, he's long dead - I'd guess for weeks - and covered in slime. We've also confirmed via this morning's autopsy that Daud's body was filled with slime. Between this and the intel we've received from other Vallo, I think it's safe to assume the slime Saferra has been working with may be responsible for V.A.L.L.O.'s troubles this week.

Whatever measures we may take to deal with this problem, I'd advise finding a buddy. Don't let your close ones out of your sight.

Hello, this is Orym of the Air Asha Beketh Squadron, Communications. I know that there is a lot going on around the ship and everything is confusing and bad, but there might be a bit of good news for you new folks.

With our comms back up, we almost immediately received a signal that was first theorized and then confirmed to be coming from your side of things. It's gotten stronger as we've drifted closer to the proximity of the assumed portal. Long story short, I've been told that they should be able to see this and you lot should be able to communicate with one another now.

So uh if anyone not currently on the V.A.L.L.O. could confirm that, that would be super helpful. I'm sure your people will be relieved to hear from you.

I know you've all heard the announcement of Daud's passing by now. I was the unlucky one to find him; I've seen a lot of death, but this might be one of the toughest ones yet. "Dad" was the best of the best, and so many of us wouldn't have been half the pilots we are without him

Whatever gods, beings, or forces you believe in, turn to them now for Daud. Echoing command, if anyone has any theories on what may have happened, come forward, and let's get this solved.

If nearly being eaten by slime yesterday wasn't disconcerting enough, it was more so to find myself in the containment unit that had previously housed an amorphous green slime. He seems rather reticent, but he does do a remarkably good impression of me though I'm sure I'm not nearly so

He appears to be fully human when examined through x-ray, but there is something a little off when tested by magical means. I suppose we must be wary. I understand the DOA has collected what slime samples they've encountered, but there's always the possibility that some have been missed.

None of y'all, at this point, will be surprised to find out that there are missing recordings at in front of the Labratory, along with the Upper and Lower Engines.

I really wanna put my money in it being a super elaborate prank because at least by the end of it all, it'll be a culprit we can all hate on together.

Guys, I just saw Commander La Croix in the corridor. She was muttering about being locked out of the Reactor due too many "invalid" attempts or something. Who the hell is doing all this weird shit?

Someone left their footprints all over the grass in the Forest. The grass that, as it turns out, has very clear and obvious signage that says to not tread upon it. The grass that we work very hard to maintain to add to important things like the oxygen we breathe.

Do not step on it again, mysterious person. The surveillance did not catch anyone this time which is rather, but just do not.

Power is back on in the barracks.

The outage was a result of deliberate sabotage to the electrical system. The culprit is unknown for now, but the situation has been reported to the captain.

When you have time, go to your pod and do an inspection, and report back if anything went missing or was disturbed in the dark.

Hello. Does anyone know anything about slime specimens? I was talking to Dr. Bellner tonight and he had one on the ship, but it went missing. He said it was under control but I don't believe him.

Kit seems to think that's a bad omen, a slime specimen going missing on a spaceship. I think we should keep an eye on the labs if we can.

Has anyone been able to establish communications back home? I'd like to check in with my brother when we can.

Hey there, newcomers--and also not-newcomers, since I've been told everyone should be connected onto our networks now. Obviously let us know if that's not the case--well, I guess you wouldn't be seeing this if it wasn't, so. Let us know if it is and that's one thing done.

Anyway, I'm Orym and it really is nice to see some new faces, even if it's from strange circumstances. (I say that as though arriving via tree onto a space station is normal, but after a few years it really is.)
