, Aragorn is a happy animal and we both feel rather settled into place. It's rather a nice feeling to be at ease again - and while I certainly miss home - there are things here I never expected to find in my life.
I can't remember my family before I took my oath and all, but I am grateful to have people from home that make it feel like I have one, here. It feels like it could become a home, despite the circumstances. And, I'll be honest, jumping right into things instead of sitting around upon arrival really helped me find my footing.
Aragorn is enjoying having a reason to stretch his wings, he was bored back home. Now he's got space to fly, and I can't say having a reason to take him out is a bad thing. Though he won't stop being hopeful to have something to chase down like a rex - I have to remind him that wasn't a common thing. But, ah well, how do you crush the spirit of a faithful mount?
