Custom trees can be shaped to almost any purpose, including attraction or repulsion of people or creatures (magical or otherwise), protection, clean air, boosted mood, etc. We also have some rare Amaranth-Dragon blossoms and a range of jewellery made from magical glass dragon vomit Chime's offshoots.

OH anyway he vomited some whole turkeys at my feet and then told my kid she's "one cool motherfucker" so I'm just curious if this is a Vallo thing or an Outlander thing. I'm definitely taking him home if it's a Vallo thing.

Second note: don't tell your littlest sister that your having been eaten by a plant is why she beat you at Birthday Laser Tag Shenanigans, because she will absolutely call you on your shit and roast you. Multiple times and rightfully so, certainly but also. I was eaten by a plant yesterday.

Gods, twelve. How did that happen? How is she going to be a teenager next year? This doesn't compute in my mind.

I would not call myself a botanical expert, however I think the source of the latest plant debacle is at the Quarry. The entire place is a bit...taken over. If anyone feels so inclined, it may behoove us to examine the caves.

Alert: these plants are fucked. I've never seen anything like this. They think in words. It's all the mother this and the mother that, and they don't respond to me like regular plants would. The root system is incomprehensible.

Oh and I'm almost certain it's them making people walk around like they're made out of warped wood. Something in their pollen, probably, which means breathing the air around them is a really bad idea, except they're practically everywhere so it's not easy to avoid. I think one of them might have got me earlier, since I have no memory of walking all the way out of town.

I know Vallo likes to cook up exciting things for us to deal with on occasion, but this has a parasitic sort of feel and I don't like it at all.

These plants are starting to attempt to invade my greenhouse and it's becoming a nuisance. I know that this is likely a case of "there are bigger problems in the world, Essek" and "you should reevaluate your priorities, Essek", but I will be difficult to live with if they impede my orchids yet again.

More difficult than normal. I am self aware.

I hope these flower dragon creatures stick around. They're mostly good company, and Chime gets on with them pretty well.

If anyone's garden needs a bit of extra help in this heat, let me know. I've been busy finding and starting to set up a shop in the city, so I haven't had as much time to do my usual rounds. And on that subject, I need name suggestions. I'll be selling my magic-storing miniature trees and other cuttings, as well as magically boosted herbs and tinctures.

There's something pleasantly simple about 'Trees by Briar Moss', which is what I always used to put on market stalls. Maybe I should just stick with that.

I've been sitting on the deck of the Merry for the last few hours with a book. I'd like to be reading, but I keep staring out at the water. I had a really good time a few weeks back when we all switched powers and I got to swim in the sea for the first time.

Is it possible to feel nostalgic for something that didn't happen that long ago?

Bet you all thought I was a goner, eh? Tough! I have been stitched back together and will be back charming all the pretty girls in town before you can say pelvic fracture. Which are two words I'd prefer to never hear again, if it's all the same.

When I'm done catching up on work I think I need to start training in earnest. What little I've been doing lately is apparently not cutting it. Anyone know a group I could join?

I did not do well yesterday. You'd think destroying homicidal plant life would be a cinch for a Green Mage, but turns out it's not that simple. I'm used to trying to keep them alive - or using them to kill things. I didn't realise how much it would hurt to try and squeeze the life out of them instead.

Anyway, practice makes perfect, and there's always the old fire amulet if things get really dire. Let me know if any major problem areas crop up and I'll come and do what I can to help.

There is a new portal opened in front of Morningside and it is swarmed. I was able to defeat several angry plants and defend most of the building but they are still coming through and I do not wish to burn everything to the ground.

Listen, I know this is probably only interesting to me but did you all realize that the average bipedal takes over two hundred million steps in their lifetime? And that people actually track the number of steps they take every day? Some cool store clerk in the city was telling me all about it and they showed me this watch thing you wear on your arm that somehow knows what your feet are doing and how often. I bought four. I'm wearing every single one of them.

ALSO, new discoveries that make having legs literally the best ever:

Rollerblading (Am very bad at it. My butt hurts. It's amazing.)
Dancing (It's almost like having a fin but on land?? You just wiggle a lot and I love it.)
Climbing trees (See commentary on rollerblading)
Sitting on the floor (how did I never know you could sort of tie your legs in a knot??)
Being barefoot (Ummmmmm, why do we even wear shoes up here?)

I realize I'm new here, or at least relatively so, but have I been sent somewhere else already? Everyone else nearby seems just as amazed or as confused as I, though none of us seem to have any answers. Aside from the elf at the bar who just shrugged it off as "Vallo."
