[Message to Abi, Syd, and El]

Any of you losers know how to sign up for university or whatever?

Hey everybody, I'm the Fox Way reporter for the day! So here's what happened yesterday:

• Katou got his flirt on with a hot shepherd. Good for you, Katou! (Mike was totally useless when I asked if the shepherd was hot, even though he can see everything. He had to ask Kamala if the shepherd he invented was hot or not.)
  
• Kamala lived out the dream of petting an adorable fluffy border collie. This is honestly the best use of anyone's time in the whole game.
  
• Miffany the barmaid who wants to be a wizard enchanted TWO THINGS! You guys, I am so invested in Miffany, I really want everything to work out for her.
  
• Kellach and Nebula fought a bear and won!
  
• And Kellach got some leather pants for it, which I'm into.
  
• Iris broke into a lord's house for a prank war and won a riddle contest with a blacksmith!
  
• And Blue has a magic coat that I've been promised looks badass
  
• Actually just in general they did a lot of shopping. They've got good gear now, so I think they'll do really well when they fight the necromancer
  
• Chet turned his weird flirting into matchmaking, and he and Adaine and Blue got a lady to give her magical ex a second chance. It was really cute, I love hearing about weirdos in love.
  
• Kellach helped a ghost finish her business and move on and made a bard cry
  
• Mike wrote a whole sea shanty about a necromancer being bad at sex but couldn't come up with a better barmaid names than Tiffany, Biffany, and Miffany.
  
• But he only wrote the one song, so mostly the bard does lute covers of 70s and 80s power ballads

Anyway, today they're heading down the road to the necromancer. Mike says it'll probably take a whole day for them to get there and that there's a couple things along the road he can't talk about.

They are all doing so well and I'm so proud of everybody in there for being amazing. GO VALLO!

My sculpture final cracked in the kiln. Don't mind me, I'm just going to spend the rest of the day crying and frantically trying to redo it in time to turn in.

You know what's a real bummer? I just realized Tag is a dead app.

I know we hate these fucking portals, but there better be one because there is not a chance in the hells that both my fiance and sister disappeared right in front of me and it can't be fixed.

Who wants to go see some weird art with me?

Warning: it's going to be very weird. Vallo City's performance art scene is pretty wild, and WEPT (World's End Puppet Theater) is maybe the wildest of them all. They have made puppets do things that legitimately disturbed me. BUT, their puppetry actually is amazing, both for construction and performance, and it's worth going to see even if "what even was that?" isn't usually what you like to come out of a theater thinking.

It's just $5, and it's at the Odditorium at 9 p.m. on Friday before the drag show, which I'll probably stay for if anybody else is up for coming along. (If you don't know drag show etiquette, I'm happy to fill you in before showtime. Mainly just make sure you bring cash to tip the queens.)

So who's in? (Kaitlyn and Iris, you can answer but I'm dragging you with me no matter what you say.)

Hey Meadery, can we have speed-dating just for making friends? Speed...friending? I met so many cool people last night who I never would've met otherwise! It would be awesome to have an event like that where you could see if you get that instant friend-click with somebody. It's hard making friends in a new universe, and some of us could use the help!

(If you do it, get Countess Chocula and Eli to host again, they were amazing at making everything seem lighthearted and fun. Even though I will never get to be Countess Chocula's 9th husband :( because I'm not wealthy enough.)

Dear all of Vallo from a world that celebrates winter holidays but are not native to this one,

It's going to be my first year celebrating here which, you know, is great for all the new friends I've made here, but not so great when I'm thinking of my family back home and also realizing it'll be the first time I don't even celebrate the Chinese New Year with them, and it's making me feel some type of way.

How the hell do you cope or manage to get through it without a breakdown?

Before anyone suggests "a new hairdo", done and done. Abi and I found a place that did magical hair growth and all and I got longer hair! I debuted it during the wedding even.

I could use a gym buddy, but for studying. I've got an exam next week and I know I'm probably not the only one - someone up for keeping me accountable?

Note: guilt doesn't really work on me, but a competitive vibe does. I'll have headphones on. Quiet room in the Library maybe? (Weird to capitalize it. Fucking emphasis. The Library.) If something attacks it we can find a new place.

Now that my reign of tyranny has come to an end and things feel a bit more normal at home even though it's still, I'm here to do the work thing I was supposed to do days ago. As the kids may or may not say: my bad.

Last year we did a silent auction fundraiser benefiting the Youth Center on New Years Eve. It was a wild success and something that we're now doing again, because why not. I understand this is quite some time out before the holiday hits, but time moves quickly this time of year, or so I've noticed, so here I am. It will still be the optionally fancy affair, but this time we're doing a masquerade for full dramatic effect.

That being said, what I'm really here for is to once again look for donations from individuals and businesses alike to go toward the silent auction. Gift baskets, certificates, experiences, and so on. All of the proceeds do go back to the youth center, to fund facilities and programs. Our hope is to expand to add some additional classrooms and general space eventually.

I've never properly introduced myself here. Forgive me. My name is Sanji. If you find yourself around the Crossed Quills and short on funds for a meal, please ask for me in the kitchen. No one should ever go hungry. Speaking of the kitchen, it's back up and running after the incident. Although, perhaps not at full speed. Give me a few more days before you order anything too complicated, alright? As much as I hate turning away a challenge.

Right, so. That's it then. I just want to say I love this network of yours! I'd choose this over talking to a telepathic snail any day of the week.

When all you wanna do is take a walk to run some ERRANDS and Hi, warning: we have a lot of violent activity centered around the Crossed Quills and the village around it. We got monsters, we got portals (??? why), and everything is breaking. I think And I don't know if it's because I got thrown into a damn tree too hard, but I think these things aren't swiping at any of the locals?

So this morning I was working on a project and suddenly burst into a dramatic torch song, complete with ballet choreography? The closest I get to singing and dancing is singing along with all the songs in The Labyrinth, so I'm pretty sure some magic happened.

Is this hitting anybody else, or is it just our house?
