So I just saw a guy walking down the street with a fully functional metal arm. Is that like, something anyone can get, or do you have to be some sort of super badass? Because I've been rocking this hook hand for a couple of weeks now and like, it's nice, I'm all about the pirate aesthetic, but there's something to be said about being able to tie my own shoelaces.

Okay, I guess now that I've gotten settled and realized that I'm not actually hallucinating in a coma somewhere or something, and half of you I met in my first day are no longer little babies, I'm redoing this.

I'm Kaitlyn Ka, new to Vallo. Great place, really, even if it's kind of weird surreal. I mean I never thought I'd be in a place where plants can talk to me. I'm a friend of Abi and Nick's, know them from the camp we were counselors at, along with Dylan. Anyone have ideas on how I can pass the time here?

Let it be known that no matter how many times you say I'm not hallucinating from the lack of sleep and potential PTSD from a full night of running from monsters in the woods... it's not at all convincing and my brain says it's still a potential.

Regardless, on the chance that, you know, this isn't? I could really use a shower and new clothes. Please direct me to the nearest department store. Or charity shop, I'm honestly not picky right now.

One of our Art Camp activities this week (Sunday) is "Welcome to Cardboard Castle." If anyone has boxes they are willing to donate to the cause of children's art and architecture, please notify me. I will be happy to retrieve them. We seek boxes of all sizes, though large ones are especially valued. We are also accepting donations of tape and Christmas Lights.

We all wish to thank the community for supporting us, that we may in turn support you. Your assistance yesterday was vital to our staff and volunteers, as has been the ongoing support that allows us to keep up this space and its activities on a regular basis.

Okay, right, introduce myself: I'm Avicenna, new person, from a crap world (like apparently a-l-l of you, holy shit) but alternate universes are also like, known so while my whelm is on the high side of 'over', I'm picking up what you're putting down, and I have about-- ten fucking MILLION questions but okay, this place is apparently "super amazing supportive and awesome" so I'll just go for this one: I don't want a free bagel (whatever that is); what I want are glasses so I can fucking see all of this weirdness. Do you guys do glasses? Free healthcare? What kind of utopia are we in exactly? Do I need to blow someone? Because I'll definitely need to see to do that right; we've got ourselves a real quagmire. I need details on your medical system and currency, thanks bye.

Also: your network is neat. I tried to break it three times and some autonomaton who called itself Deathface or whatever threatened to kill me, so, gearing up for time #4.

Guess what! Since we have so many more kids than usual, Art of Expression is launching a special session of ART CAMP!!!

Instead of our usual signups, this time we're just doing show-ups! Starting this morning, kids from 5 to 12 will be with me in The Big Classroom at Cloud Recesses, and we'll have a super great time playing with all kinds of media, including paints and pastels and clay! There's room for all ability and experience levels, so if you want to make art, just come on up the mountain!

If you're bringing a kid, make sure they wear something they can get messy, and pack a lunch. If they need any special accommodations, just let me know and I will make it happen.

And if there are any kids who see this and want to come but don't have an adult yet, just pipe up! We'll find someone to show you the way here and make sure you've got a good lunch.

Annnnnnnnnd any of our suddenly-teenagers need stuff to do (or our regular teenagers, for that matter), I wouldn't mind an extra hand child-wrangling, so like...hmu if you need extra activities.
