I'm on a run with my hounds in the forest and haven't ever seen this one in this general area before. It's giving me Overlook vi

After some deliberation, there will be three groups for tomorrow. There's the extraction team, led by Steve Rogers, that is heading to Demonikea to grab the weapon. The distraction team, led by Ashton and Lan Xichen, will head toward Soups and try to draw as many forces as possible there and away from Demonikea. Thanks to Noct's suggestion, there's a small scouting team called the rendezvousaction team? that will keep track of movements within the city, in case they don't take the bait. We don't want anyone cornered unexpectedly.

Assignments are posted on the notice board. If you have problems, take it up with your leads. I'm just the information messenger.

Ashton is also not allowed to name anything again. With that said, we're due for a new passphrase for the Outpost. You can leave your suggestions in the comment box by the mess hall.

OH MY GOD.

This isn't sustainable. To all those feeling soul-crushing guilt, I beg of you, let me get rid of it. I had to call out of work (fine) and couldn't even get an iced coffee (NOT FINE) without getting locked into a haze of someone's outsized self-loathing. Either get help for your trauma or stay away from me. I think my head's going to explode.

The next person to have an episode in my vicinity is getting manipulated. Trust me, it'll be more pleasant for us both.

How long do you think is long enough to pay for whatever crimes you might have done in the past? A lifetime? A couple hundred years? A thousand? More? Less? Does it depend on the crime?

Two things.

1. Roz's birthday is Thursday. She wants a fancy dinner. I need a headcount for how many think they can make dinner at Galdin Quay at 7pm so I can finalize the reservation. So LMK if you can make it!

2. I didn't say anything about it because I wasn't sure if it was going to be a thing or not. But Evanora Ciar is taking off from Les Misérables to film her new movie and they held auditions back in December for covering her part. I auditioned and got picked. So starting in late January to early March I'll be playing the part of Fantine a couple nights a week. I'll start rehearsals next week to be prepared to take over and be taking a brief sabbatical from the Magic Department.

I don't know how anyone manages to care about a career without drowning themselves in a vat of Château Lafite Rothschild to feel something. Everyone makes a big joke out of tacky wine mom paraphernalia but honestly at least they're honest about the futility of their ambitions meaning anything beyond the serotonin of narcissism. Career people. You know, the ones that don't have a job; they've a calling. Christ.

Anyhow. Demonikea's hiring. Interested in mid-century modern and selling your soul? Grand. Don't make them like you like I did; that was such a mistake. You'll never stop smelling of brimstone and meatballs.
