Does anyone have any tips or advice for acclimating an older sibling to a new one that isn't born yet?

Hatched, I guess. It has to be similar right? Because Tairn and Sgaeyl have an egg that's going to hatch any day now and Andarna has gotten really, really testy. I've tried to make sure I give her extra attention but I think she's jealous of how much attention the egg is getting from Tairn and Sgaeyl and is too stubborn to admit it.

If you don't have any advice but just want to squeal about a baby dragon with me that's okay too.

I don't have a single memory of what the heck happened in the last week so I'm going to just go ahead and preemptively say that it was clearly not me. Or, well. A different me. But not ME me. It's pretty easy to track who you talked to and all through these things but everything else is like JUST A BLANK!

I need like, a quick update on stuff.

First off, hi. I have time traveled. Or I guess my mind has? Another Vallo thing, I see. But anyway, just because I've been away from Vallo for so long doesn't mean I don't post about things I remember from my world that just stick with me for some reason or another!

And today's thing that stuck with me is that October 1st is International Raccoon Appreciation Day back on plain ol' Earth. Should be universal if you ask me. Therefore, ROCKET! If you're still here, let's get you some treats.

Sgaeyl almost torched a delivery guy this morning. I handled it. She's been sleeping a lot so I was sticking close anyw Just giving you a heads up that she's in a mood so maybe keep your distance. I'll take her out for a long flight when she stops growling at me.

It seems this world has done more to help my daughter grow wiser and more responsible than I thought I would ever be able to do (or maybe that's just Carol's influence). I should like to thank it properly for taking care of her for the two years she has been here. Plus, it seems I had also missed her nineteenth birthday in this world. (In my world, at least, she is still thriving but I will not give you details for Kamala says that is known as a spoiler.)

This Friday, I am making chicken biryani, samosa chaat, and panipuris for everyone who wishes to come by and have some. I have permission and help from the residents of Loch Laggan. I guarantee you will never find anything like my recipes in the streets of this Vallo.

Just to make sure I have this straight: I'm in a place that has drawn people in from all across the multiverse, as well as having a native population. And then on top of that some people who were brought here are now in a horror series on tv, playing characters in roles that they didn't necessarily choose? And there's no way for me to connect with them?

Where's Wanda? Is she alright?

Are the people in this television show alright? Even if... they die?

I know that there is a lot going on and I'm sorry to everyone out there going through it, but--well.

There's a dragon in our yard? It's unlike any dragon I've heard of or seen, which I'll admit my exposure is limited, and it's very beautiful, but it's also just curled around our cherry blossom tree from Zephrah. And I'm also pretty sure it's sleeping? But that's just what it looks like from inside the house, not sure if it's a good idea to approach.

Anyway, advice would be good? I've learned how to handle bulettes, but this is new.

Hi. If you heard this from me, no you didn't.

But I need help with Andarna. She's fine - we're fine. We got attacked by one of those bulette monsters? I fried it and Tairn took care of the rest but we had to rush in because Andarna couldn't get away fast enough and she almost got seriously injured.

You've all been around her long enough now to know she's not as strong of a flier as others, and that's because we were bonded when she was too really young, and shit went sideways like it always does and her growth was messed up because of me a battle we went through and how much energy she used during it. So some of her wing muscles didn't grow in properly and she can fly but she can't hold weight on her and she can't take off quickly.

But dragons are stubborn as fuck and bringing it up just hurts her feelings or makes her more stubborn. Tairn and Sgaeyl work with her, and I try as much as she'll let me but it's a delicate topic she hates talking about. So I could use help with people who can fly to spend time with her in the air, help her build those muscles and adapt, without making it seem like it's exercise? People I can trust that'll keep an eye on her and also maybe not get me eaten.

And if you've got any other ideas I am OPEN to hearing them. She won't accept a healer to look at it.

So, real quick question, but Kamala didn't, you know, disappear in the last few months, did she? It's just that her house is empty and I'm kind of freaking out

Has anybody here done this Magical Olympics thing in previous years? I'm trying to figure out how picky they about how your magic manifests and if I'll get disqualified for using magic I get from my dragon. I can handle enchantments with lesser magics and runes, but capture the flag would be easier with my signet.

And I'd rather not have a repeat of yesterday's stellar performance.

Does this work? I don't know where I am and how I got here.

Tairn and I were out in the forest and a giant horned creature rose up from under a downed tree and tried to attack. Which-- was stupid of it, because it tried to attack Tairn and Sgaeyl showed up out of nowhere and ripped its head clean off.

So, uh. Please be wary of these things (and also sorry for the blood I couldn't get a picture BEFORE its head was gone): [Attached picture of a Deathclaw but pretend it's head is next to it just like, gone.]

Tairn has been away from Sgaeyl for months now and still waited until Andarna showed up before leaving me to go-- whatever! So I guess don't expect to see him for a while if you're looking to the skies, dragons in our world can't handle being away from their mates for weeks let alone this long. He'll probably be less cranky now.

Hey out there, Network People. I heard I should introduce myself here. I'm Liam, I've been here about a week, and I haven't posted because - technology, that's new. But I think I've got the hang of it now, and Violet says you guys like pictures of cool things, so here's one.
