Swifty mostly does his own thing, and he likes to think he's the liberator of animals. We haven't seen any animals that are as interested in liberation as he is, but just a warning in case you have some wild ones like Thori. He has a hero complex probably worse than mine and he talks. A lot.

Feel free to call me or Catra if he starts causing you any trouble, and we'll come get him.

My thanks to all those who participated in the creation of the Outlanders and Animals Calendar, especially those of you who volunteered at the last minute to finish the job for our friends who have gone on to other worlds. Your efforts made a process that could have been stressful smooth as a bolt of silk, and I cannot voice my appreciation enough.

Now the time has come to place orders. Please, Outlanders of Vallo, support the well-being of animals both wild and domestic and the artistic efforts of your compatriots by pre-ordering on the Art of Expression website. The previews I have seen of the work of our photographers are truly beautiful, and accordingly to my brother-in-law, "So hot! And so cute! Some are both!" I believe you will not be disappointed if you take one or more of these calendars into your home.

I think, during the cool Scottish winters, that the heat emenating from the underground hot springs at the covert would be really quite pleasant; I know I certainly enjoyed it here in the last few weeks of winter when I moved in.

I appear to be affected by the latest in Vallo's strangeness. When I rose to dress this morning, my clothes applied themselves to me of their own volition, with flashing lights and energetic music as I twirled. It was disconcerting, but everything appears to be in place as it ought to be.

George thinks he's very funny and he has left me in charge of his joke shop. I am obviously not the best suited for such things, but I will be handling the managerial end while Wei Wuxian employs his obnoxious skills for the product side of things. I trust he will do the Weasleys proud.


This is obviously a difficult situation. I am unlikely to be anywhere near as personable as the shop's true owners. But I promise to make sure the doors stay open and this place is waiting for the Weasleys if when whether they return or not.
