I find myself worrying for those dealing with Hell that's come to Vallo. I don't know anyone affected by it, but if anyone should need a friendly shoulder to lean on, someone to to talk to, or someone to simply listen, I'm around.

How many anti-anxiety meds and potions should I be stocking up on after this?

My sense of direction has been questionable at times, but I didn't think it was possible to have landed so far off from my intended destination. Fortunately, I did not have to wander too long before I was greeted by a delightful young man who informed me of the situation I find myself in and even helped me find lodgings for the foreseeable future.

This place seems as good as any for a fresh start.

Tonight I sat outside of Morningside Manor for hours. I needed to be outside. I haven't gone on my nightly walk since this mushroom business started. I was thinking about home. I miss it. I miss the familiarity even if I would be gone for stretches of time.

Claudia's sketch pads and the doll she slept with showed up in my apartment last week. They were sitting on my bed when I returned home one night. At first I thought I was hallucinating, then I picked them up. I don't know how they got here or why, but they have brought comfort and sadness.

In today's Why Doesn't Anything in Vallo Make Sense adventure - you know when you see a bunch of flickering lights, like the red and green Christmas kind, and they just sort of speak to you? All oh follow me down this path, like it's a fucking rainbow with a pot of gold or something? No? Well, I do.

Sadly there was no gold at the end of the path but I did get this bag and these socks and I'm sure its the universe's idea of some joke but jokes on them because I will totally rock this shit thank you very much.

I am pleased to announce that The Art of Expression has been given the honor of hosting an exhibit of beautiful paintings that are currently visiting from the land of America in the year 1965.

If you are a follower of the work of Edward Hopper or simply one who enjoys bold colors and loneliness put to canvas, do come to visit our gallery space. As these works are from another place and time, we do not know how long they may be with us. Should they become permanent residents of Vallo, they will find permanent housing

The exhibition will open with a First Look reception today, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and will be open to the general public starting at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Attendance at the reception is free (though donations are always appreciated), but tickets are required to prevent overcrowding. Tickets may be acquired on the Art of Expression website.

On a personal note: are sea shanties popular music in anyone here's home world? They are my most recent musical interest, and I fear I will bore my household to tears with my conversation on them. (I believe Laurence is pleased, however, that my latest topic of musical research is something that he recognizes as music.)

We don't have the end of the year holiday season where I'm from so it has been incredibly interesting learning about it since I've been here. But I think something may have followed me home while I was out shopping for decorations the other day.

I haven't bought a tree yet, but I did get some ornaments. Yesterday I found them hanging from random places in my apartment. My favorite was the one that was hanging from my shower head. This morning I came out into my living room to find a plate of sugar cookies on the coffee table that I am almost sure was not there the night before, one of which was half eaten.

I've been trying to explore a little bit everyday, acquaint myself with Vallo properly. There's so much to see and do, but today was a special treat. In my wandering, I found a chocobo post! I didn't rent one, I've never been very good at riding them on my own. It was enough to just spend some time there.

I think I'll go back tomorrow.

Should I be worried?

There's something really lovely about walking around at night to look at all the Christmas lights. It's so peaceful, quiet. Vallo seems to be in the spirit of this time of year with so many homes decorated. I do hope you're all enjoying the holiday. What's your favorite thing about it or a favorite tradition?

Hello? My name is Yuna. I apologize if I'm not using the proper etiquette. I should've asked, but I'm still a bit shaken up, and this machina isn't anything like I've ever seen — though I really don't have a lot to compare it to.

I haven't met many since I arrived here, so where does one meet others here in Vallo? I'm not the bar kind and I'm not the best at dancing. I prefer moonlight, books and good conversation. I realize this sounds like one of those dating ads, but I assure you it's not. I'm just looking to meet new and like-minded people.

So little "gifts" are a thing here? I hope that's the case, otherwise this thing followed me here.

I've only met one mortal before and it was just for a short while and she seemed quite fine, if not a bit taken aback but I like to think that had only a little to do with me. It might not have, I don't really know. I have been told that the Feywild can be a bit much for those not used to it, which, you know, I can totally understand. Though, in fairness, this realm is also a bit much, though the video I watched was quite informative. And entertaining! It was like a play. Do they have plays here? They must, right?

Hello. This is a different kind of larger city than I have been to in a long while. I've been told that if I'm looking for a place to have tea and do some reading, that I should ask this forum.

I'm open to any suggestions. Finding a good sandwich shop would be nice as well.

Can anyone tell me where there are some interesting and fun Halloween activities around Vallo tonight or tomorrow night? Being new I haven't met a lot of people and I'm not sure where to find such events.

I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. How technology has changed in thirty or so years is amazing. I can barely use this phone and I'm at a complete loss on this laptop computer.
