That was one hell of a wedding yesterday, thanks to everyone that showed up - because we literally couldn't have done it without you. That beast was Uk'atoa, someone who's been hunting me at home for some time now. I had hoped he wouldn't find me here, but I guess Vallo has a great sense of humor. I'm glad no one was killed and we got rid of him, hopefully permanently. I meant it when I said everyone was family at this point - especially after this.

Hey so yeah. I know this is late notice but everything got dumb and I got distracted so deal, I guess. I'm throwing a party for Fjord and Jester on Friday night. A last hurrah before they're officially married and obnoxious. (They're already obnoxious but we love them anyway.) The party's at Freewheelin's because I thought it would make Jester happy and Fjord is happy if Jester is happy? So strap on those skate things and let's go. Oh and be prepared to sneak in booze. I'll buy but I only have so many pockets.

Good afternoon, my new friends! I have only been in your world a very short time (such a shock this morning--do you know how truly unfair it is to be lounging oh so comfortably on the coast in sunny Feolinn with a glass of their very best diamond plum wine only to be deposited unceremoniously in a forest of all places? I cannot), but I have made the most wonderous discovery and it is gelato. I am currently eating it with the tiniest of spoons and it is as delicious as it is wonderous and I suggest you all try it immediately.

Now, I can't help but notice that I am rather stuck here. I have been informed that not even the most fair and advantageous (for both parties, obviously) deal made with a hapless group of adventurers can create for me a little doorway to hop back to the Menagerie Coast and my glass of wine, so I have decided to view this as a grand opportunity for growth and excitement and I am beginning to bore myself, so I'm going to just let this paragraph come to an end now.

Ah, and of course: I have been told there is a blue tiefling about. I would so very much like to be reunited with her, should someone be able to point me in her direction.

Now you've all seen the impressive wedding invitation that Jester created for us, whether you through a reply to her or not. Guess what, we don't need RSVPs, because catering and all that is a non-issue. I just want to reiterate that anyone who wants to come is welcome to attend. No gifts necessary, this island just makes us all basically family under the same circumstances and that means you're all invited. If we've battled together, drank together, healed up together, saved the day together, got stuck in a giant frog's mouth together, ended up in a murder mansion together, partied together, fished together -- whatever, we're friends. So please, come join us on our special day. We'd love to see you there.

Well, now that the D&D game has saved this world, I can make my own proper introduction here. I'm Nancy Wheeler. The ones who played the D&D game are my brother and his friends.

We come from the 80s and so this being a 2022 is a bit of a shock, especially because a lot of theories on what we would have invented by the year 2000 seemed to have not panned out at all. (I'd say The Jetsons had it wrong but I think they take place in the 2060s so there is still time.) I also never thought I'd be seeing the year 2022 while still a teenager but I guess stranger things have happened.

What I do see and do appreciate is that there seems to be less sexism in this world which is always a plus for someone who tried to get a journaling job in her town and was just treated like the secretary fetching coffee for The Men. So, if there is any kind of journalism job that exists here, I'd love to talk to whoever is responsible for hiring. Also, maybe look into the colleges in this area.

Ideally, I'd really like a trip back to where I came from because there's a lot left I need to do but already learned that's not really a choice. So might as well do something here.

Wow, gosh, I'm still just absolutely blown away by the birthday party that Catra and Perfuma threw me on Tuesday! I've never really had a real birthday party before (the Horde wasn't really big on birthday parties, but I used to save up my ration bars so I could make myself a cake and me and Scorpy would celebrate together).

It was just really nice getting to bowl with everyone, and then the slumber party afterwards! I love slumbar parties, and pillow forts, and all the rest of it, and who knew that I glowed under blacklights! How exciting!! If anyone saw me crying, don't worry, they were happy tears! You guys are just the best. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

act normal time Kind of last minute but considering it's pretty casual - Scorpia's birthday's tomorrow and we're gonna do some blacklight party bowling and capping the night off with a slumber party at Darla's if anyone's interested. We'll do cake and snacks and some ~refreshments~ and if you find brownies, just ask to make sure they're not those kind of brownies.

Coming from a place where acceptance regarding love and identity is largely the norm--it comes easy, I think, when so many powerful people do not know who they might be from lifetime to lifetime--I cannot fully understand what it is like for some to have a weekend like this to celebrate oneself in. Nevertheless, it is a good thing to see and I cannot help to feel that it is yet one more celebration that ought to replace one of the many praising of the light holidays I had to endure back home.

It will not be long before my heretical views (apologies to my brother) on holidays will have them all checked off the list and replaced with festivals and celebrations I have learned about only due to Vallo, but alas. I have certainly done worse.

Wow, I have not thought of the Heliscorpter in ages, but would you believe that it showed up at Castle Bright Moon today! I can hardly believe it!

Does anyone want to go for a ride with me? I might be a little bit rusty, but I'm sure flying a heliscorpter is just like riding a bike! Not that I know how to ride a bike either so it should be fine!

I have been working on a spell for several weeks and it is beginning to dawn on me that should I ever want to cast it, I am going to need so very many diamonds.

That being said, would someone in the house be willing to feed Frostbite while we are gone? She needs a scoop of food during the morning at around 7AM and then another come evening by no later than 6PM. If it is beyond either time, she will find someone in the house and create a demanding fuss. It involves an escalation of yowling, putting paws on faces, and shredding silk shirts.

She has also grown used to receiving treats when either of us return from school or the shop in the afternoon, so she may grow demanding then, too.

Also, Yasha, would you be willing to check on and water my plants, if needed?

Ah--sorry to anyone that might have been following me around before I realized it, but I'm creating some kind of trail of, uh. Poison ivy? And stinging nettle, maybe? There also seemed to be an abundance of dandelions, but at least those aren't too much of a rash creator.

It only happens when I walk around on grass, so I guess I'll be sticking to the city today or just doing some leaps about. Or piggy backing

Anyway, sorry again. This is very new.

I woke up this morning to discover that my family's library somehow attached itself to Sutton Cottage. I'm not complaining -- I'd missed it rather a lot, actually -- but it is a little strange how it attached itself so seamlessly. I even went outside to see if I could notice an added extension, and had I not known where to look, I don't think I would have noticed at all.

I wish I could I suppose it's a good thing I have a job, so I wouldn't just hole myself up here for the next few weeks making sure everything's in place. As much as I'd like to. Now if I could be so lucky to get Flora Sutton's research journals as well.

I have never looked forward to a summer of free time more than I am right now. I have no doubt that I will change my tune in a couple of weeks, when I get through my pile of books I've been putting off and realize I need additional hobbies.

I have been so wrapped up with the end of the semester that I just know I've missed the arrival of a good number of people from home, so I wanted to both apologize and rectify that as well as I can. I'm Cassandra de Rolo and I'm from Tal'Dorei, specifically Whitestone. I've spent more or less all of my life there, though my brother and Vex had been nudging me into doing more travel for myself--I think that they meant somewhere like Marquet, not an entirely different world.

That said, given that there is such a population of us, I thought that we might be overdue an opportunity for getting to know one another in person so I am suggesting: potluck dinner at the Xhorhaus (apologies to my housemates; I promise to do the cleaning afterward) on this coming Friday, May 20?
