There is a new portal opened in front of Morningside and it is swarmed. I was able to defeat several angry plants and defend most of the building but they are still coming through and I do not wish to burn everything to the ground.

I know we hate these fucking portals, but there better be one because there is not a chance in the hells that both my fiance and sister disappeared right in front of me and it can't be fixed.

Are we still looking for the portal guy? Because it just kinda dropped out of the sky from a portal and flew off. The portal isn't there anymore, but just checking that no one suddenly disappeared or anything, because that would be a problem.

EDIT: Witches and wizards and magical folk of Vallo, do you have magical ways to track glitchy, invisible beasts? And ones that can fly. Me and Kratos ??? want to know.

EDIT 2: Anyone who is familiar that sounds so wrong but that's the words that F with the beast, can you come describe it to Fresh Cut Grass?

I believe I saw this morning the beast that others have seen near the portals. It was playing near my cottage, but I ended up spooking it when it caught sight of me.

After figuring out explosives weren't the best route, the vacuum cleaner I rigged has contained the slime without them getting out and nobody has had to touch them.

Who do I send the containers to? I can incinerate them.

If nearly being eaten by slime yesterday wasn't disconcerting enough, it was more so to find myself in the containment unit that had previously housed an amorphous green slime. He seems rather reticent, but he does do a remarkably good impression of me though I'm sure I'm not nearly so

He appears to be fully human when examined through x-ray, but there is something a little off when tested by magical means. I suppose we must be wary. I understand the DOA has collected what slime samples they've encountered, but there's always the possibility that some have been missed.

Smiley day, folks! It was sure nice to see you all at the speed dating--there's something magical to me about you soul touched finding connections with each other. That's what makes this flat disc of a planet meaningful!

In between all of that gazing into each other's optic orbs, did anyone happy to notice that creature outside? Kinda looked like the one that came right before the big portal opened up?

It's been a very long time since I've been to China and this is obviously the furthest away I've been, but seeing my daughter running around in a dragon onesie while eating jiaozi and longevity noodles makes it feel closer than ever before. It is definitely one of the better Lunar New Years that I can remember, which feels pretty fortuitous for the year itself.

That being said, I hope everyone enjoys prosperity, dumplings, and happiness going into the new year.

I woke up this morning with this weird urge to do yoga. I haven't done yoga a day in my fucking life. What the hell have I been doing the last week?

We had a pretty intense day yesterday, but we made it! I knew we could do it! I'm so relieved to have all our allies back safe and sound! I got some coffee going and can see about scrounging us up a breakfast to celebrate!

Uh, this is Leon Kennedy reporting in from [location]. I, uh, is everyone ok? Did anyone at base also suddenly get a headache out of nowhere that could be classified as the worst migraine they've ever had?

I also swear I saw some kind of beast come tearing out of a portal downtown. I couldn't see it for very long though, granted, I was on the ground when it flew over head.

Has anyone else reported in?

The last of the Flerkens we'd managed to gather up and bring to the Castle disappeared around midnight last night. I got to witness that wide awake - one second they were climbing all over me, the next they were gone. Almost like Minus the d It looks like they were just temporary visitors after all. They had a great time while they were here, and I know they soaked up every bit of affection they got from everyone who came by to hang out; thanks to those who brought them in and came by to play with them.

The kitten Goose brought back to the house was still there when I got home, though, so I'm guessing any home invaders you brave and/or crazy people took in are sticking around. If anyone can't handle full-time Flerken ownership, let me know. And don't mind Goose prowling around to check on her spawn sometimes. She's her own boss, what can I say. 🤷🏼‍♀️
