Hey friends! :)))))))))) We're getting ready for our pet adoption event at the Barns on the 12th! More information will becoming BUT last year we made the BEST signs for the animals, they looked like a dating profile I miss Syd and it was SO fun to see people falling in love with the animals! And everyone deserves love and a safe, good home! We host a farmer's market on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so come for that too and see our animals (not for adoption, but adorable!!) and see some AMAZING goods!

What I love about Valentine's Day (besides the fact that it's about celebrating love and telling people how you feel!) are the snacks! And you guys, there are SO MANY good snacks out there! I cultivated and curated a selection of culinary delights for you!

Despite having already avenged myself in the chocobo races today, Adam and I had a bet that whoever won at Defense yesterday would owe the other pizza. And now that I have $200 to burn, I figured I might as well make it a pizza party on Darla.

Turns out the egg was not a giant bird, dragon or a snake. I'm pretty sure its a baby hydra.

It's about half my height right now but I have no clue how big these things get. It'll be staying in my little area of the forest and shouldn't bother anyone.

Does anyone know what they eat?

Controversial opinion maybe but those Furby toy things ain't so bad once you mess with their wiring and reprogram them some. I got one taught to quiz me on flash cards and speak my language from home.

I've been here for over a year now but today I've learned two things:

1) You can get sushi at a grocery store

and

2) You definitely shouldn't eat it

Adora's birthday is on the 19th but I'm putting together a ~celebration~ on the 22nd with laser tag, bumper cars and arcade games. No, she doesn't know about it and no one tell her. I've been letting her pout about a lack of birthday party because I'm a troll. If she tries to make plans with anyone that day, tell her you're busy.

Corny party hats and streamers will be provided since she likes that cheesy stuff. And there will also be a pinata because who doesn't like to hit things??? I'm going to have to hunt down a fortified one that holds up well since everyone is either freakishly strong or beefy.

Quick poll. If I volunteered to organize a game of Capture the Flag this weekend, how many people would be interested in playing?

Just checking in. Been awhile since we talked.

All my life (or, well, the last few months of it anyway. The Horde didn't really have much in the way of musical instruments) I've wanted to learn how to play the piano, and I've decided this year is my year! Bring it on!

I've gone out and bought a keyboard (because wow actual pianos are really expensive) and a bunch of music books (though, I don't really know how to read music just yet. I'll learn though!)

It's really coming along though! I've been playing all night! I can't seem to find any lessons about how to play piano without fingers though, so of anyone has any tips for that I'd appreciate it.

I've been coerced told that newcomers typically post a 'hi, I'm new around here' message on this network and that I should do the same. So.

Hi. I'm Teela. Some of you might recognize me from my time in Serendipity Hills with Adam because apparently that was broadcast for all to see. Not the worst first experience in a new universe I can imagine, to be honest.

I got the main rundown from the DOA before being thrown on Defense but have to ask - are things like Serendipity a regular thing? Anyone want to set some expectations for me?

Hey everyone! I know I haven't gotten much of a chance to meet most of you yet, though I'm hoping that's about to change! It's my birthday next week, on the 23rd, and I thought that seemed like a good opportunity to get to meet some of you!

I figure we can meet up at the Wizarding Wonderland, because that sounds amazing. And then we can finish up with karaoke at Al's Dive Bar!
