Um hey. I probably should have said this yesterday, but I just kind of woke up and I'm doing this quick before I get my phone confiscated.

Anyone else notice the big creature come out of the portal? It was kind of near the end and I might have been bleeding everywhere distracted, but I swear it looked like the one that created it in the first place.

After a bit over a year since I've been here, working small jobs wherever I could such as math tutoring in high school and college, TA-ing on campus even and whatnot, I've officially got a permanent job as an accountant for Thor's businesses, Æsir Vineyards and the meadery.

I'm absolutely relieved to have found a more permanent position here in Vallo.

And I would have been a bit more thrilled to share the news if I hadn't woken up to find out that my boyfriend doesn't remember anything about being here, or any of what we've gone through and also seems to think he's still with his ex. First Vallo giveth, then it taketh away.

I hate to admit it, but Brenda's dumb oils came in handy. Though not for what she intended and for the love of everything do not put that stuff on your skin.

Ásynja Meadery will go on. Torunn worked too hard on it for us to shutter its doors. The Palace is gone, however. We did transplant a lot of the fruit bearing trees to the winery with help from Freya months ago, so some of the garden lives on.

We do need more help though. Bartenders, one more bar manager, an event planner, and brewers. Someone that likes numbers would be great as well. I'm told keeping profits in gold bars is a bad idea and I have something called taxes?

I don't know if anyone would be able to confirm this... but I hope wherever Sabrina is, she's with the people she had lost from this place and she's safe and happy.

Today is entirely too quiet, I'm not sure what to do. In the few days that Allison Martin-Stilinski was here, the world felt far brighter than it had ever been. Hopefully, I get to see her again in the future, here in Vallo or back in mine and Stiles's world.

This coming Saturday, the 23rd, is the 18th birthday of one Stiles Stilinski. I've booked a room on the third floor of Spire by Fire Inn for a private celebration, complete with catered food and all their drinks, starting at 8PM. Everyone's invited, you obviously don't have to stay the entire time, maybe drop by for a bit and then leave. There will be music and dancing too!

And now I need help figuring out a gift for someone who has been your friend for a bit before turning into your boyfriend for the first time. Kind of hard to get him the "perfect" gift, because I'm sure that would be his dad and Scott McCall coming through to this world, and I can't exactly make that happen.

It was my best friend's birthday yesterday, and I'm pretty sure this is the first year I haven't actually seen him to tell him happy birthday. Which really sucks and kind of puts things into a depressing sort of perspective.

So. Good things about being here and not home? Dramatic reduction in things trying to kill me. A 100% reduction in instances of possession. Less rain. Recent fun with flooding aside, I mean. But that was an anomaly right? So it doesn't count. Because in Beacon Hills that's just a standard week. Maybe this place just needs better soil drainage. I don't know what that entails, but probably something involving a lot of sand.

I should probably be writing a paper on the etymology of the term serial killer instead of wondering about soil drainage but everyone knows that was that guy from the FBI in the 70s. So that's boring.

Back home, we had something similar to this when Prospero from "The Tempest" regained his power and then tried to drown New York City with said tempest.
