Hey, anyone else in the city see that? I'm at the bookstore and was talking to Caleb and saw what looked like some massive creature just disappear through a portal, I think? It's hard to see through the buildings, but there's something going on and--



And is anyone else suddenly missing?? Because Caleb and Frumpkin were right here and now they're both gone.

Anyway. If I was back home, I guess I'd officially be an adult now, and be able to legally do all those things adults did, like drive and drink and smoke and vote. Not that I wasn't already half those things anyway (and I don't think voting was ever in the cards, even if I did live to the ripe old age of 20).

So uh. Guess that's a thing now. Sup, adulthood.

If it's not too much of a hassle, I need to be excused from work for the next two days, three days top.

Right, so. Considering how the past week has been a bit blurry in my head and that there are newer people in the vicinity, I can take a guess on what Vallo decided to do. I got the ecstatic reunion (or re-reunion) from my sister's twins and found out I'm also apparently a great aunt. (Way to make me feel older than 37, thanks.)

What else did I miss? Besides people dancing everywhere. I caught the tail end of that.

If anyone needs any animal company while you're singing to truly live out your Disney dream, just ask! My specialty is smaller woodland creatures but I can go PRETTY big when needed. The owlbear might be a little fierce but that's okay! You do you!

Also, hi, I'm Oona Hopper, my family already knows I'm here and I've been around for a few days eating SO many waffles with El (that's not all that different in my time but she's younger and so cute you guys I have the BEST sister!!!!!) (And Pops, like, my constant moral issue is how did I luck out into getting him as a dad????) but I wanted to say hi anyway!

I had never thought of the complexities of living with both a ferret and a wolf dog before, but my cabin has been chaos ever since Gilly showed up. Maybe I'll be lucky and he'll learn to stop stealing Nighteyes' meat before the two of them manage to smash all my crockery.

All the commotion seems to have attracted yet another fellow. He says seems to be looking for his master. Does anyone recognize him?

So I've come to a realization that this is the second time I've apparently broke something from Vallo's crazy shenanigans and it always happens around this time of the year. I'm going to have to start bubble-wrapping myself or something prior to doing anything in future fall seasons or at the very least... try to ask Vallo to give us a fucking break.

But, I appreciate my colleagues replacing my beloved old water bottle with a new one with one that says Slaughter Bottle. I'm going to get a whole lot of uses out of this one!

Okay, I didn't get to properly ravish you in that suit by the end of the night, but I swear, I'm going to make it up to you as soon as I no longer feel like my head is going to burst!

First day of school, and we've got a bunch of skeletons just chilling on the school lawn. And I don't mean plastic "somebody got excited about Halloween early" skeletons. I mean actual bone skeletons that were walking around like they own the place. Carrie in my literature class said one of them asked her if she had any "tomes of power and might." (Apparently her math book doesn't count.)

So, thanks for making the first day of junior year good and weird, Vallo. Now I can think about how the hell skeletons are capable of talking instead of listening to anybody drone on about the syllabus.

Also, say I wanted to dampen sound around my lunch table at school so it's not so loud that we have to shout our whole conversation. Are there magic items that could do that? And if they do exist, how much would it probably cost to get one? (Specifically, could someone with "part time at the gaming store" money afford a Bubble of Quiet or whatever?)

Downpour found some weak spots in the roof at the house. Can do the fixing but short on the means to fix with.

Have we figured out if this is one person or whatever being able to mimic someone so easily or is it multiples? Unless this person can clone itself or just appear in more than one place? My brain is working in overdrive right now and coming up with worst case scenarios, and thinking "can they mimic someone's superpowers?"

I walked into class earlier and said hi to a study buddy, to which I got a glare in return. Turns out that she saw me around Vallo earlier and asked me to proofread the homework assignment for any errors and I ended up telling her "this is utter bullshit", then ripped it up into little pieces that she has nothing to submit for this class.

Look, I know I want to get ahead in life, but I would never. Damage control with the student and the professor went... well, it wasn't perfect, but I managed.
