This place gives, and it takes, and sometimes the whiplash is enough to hurt even me. There is nothing quite as unsettling as waking up alone. There should be two very loud Asgardians here.

It's been a few hours now and I haven't woken up from any dream yet, so I'm starting to cautiously believe this might actually be the real deal.

The hospitality of this place is quite something. It was like a celebration complete with morality plays of the like that Loki was so fond with of.

I should have announced my arrival more quickly. I had no idea my comings and goings were so interesting!

Thank you for knowing me well enough to be honest with me.

Ronan touched on this last week, but now we're a few days out from a major American holiday back home, which I know doesn't mean much here. To add to that, if I may, most Americans are also raised on a mistold version of history to make our predecessors sound better. I'm not immune to believing in the best of people - some of my friends might tell you I'm a little gullible at times. I think America may have a bit of tarnish here and there, but it's ultimately a good place full of a lot of good people. We accept our mistakes and learn from them, not cover them in paint and pretend they're better than they are. There's still plenty of us that will stick our heads in the sand and pretend otherwise, I know, but they're more and more a minority as time passes and I'll call that a win.

So while I don't celebrate the originations of Thanksgiving, I do think it's a great time to give thanks to those who have enriched your life and share time with people you've developed a bond with. And I see that here, there's people writing on the network about plans or events and it's wonderful to see. I'm glad to be a part of that.

That said, any plans? I've asked James and Torunn to see if they'd like to do something, but I don't want to exclude anyone if we can put together something larger. Alternatively, merging into something else is completely viable. However if you want to have something small and private, please don't feel any obligations to do something else.

I know that there are many houses in New Asgard, but if it would not be too much trouble could I stay with you for a few days?

I know this is going to be incredibly ironic, considering my very nature of speaking to ghosts and all, but I can do without seeing them for a few weeks after that trip. I've finally had time to settle down and think about it.

That said, fight club right after dealing with that was not exactly my best night. But oh, it was still delightfully fun. I love it.

Everyone has been very nice and helpful in getting me settled, and I apologize if I was short with anyone. I was disoriented, to say the least.

This is a bit of a late announcement but it took me some time to get settled and get into the groove of things, but I just wanted to let people know that I've taken seat in Ravi's position as head of the clinic. I'm sorry to see him leave as he was a great colleague, but it would be an injustice to not take the reigns in his absence.

Since we're in the middle of November, I do want to make an announcement that flu shots which I'm assuming is a valid concern in this world are still available for anyone who still needs them. Just reach out to the clinic whenever, walk-ins available.

I would normally disapprove of an unwanted displacement, but this happened to be quite timely.

When I talked to Valkyrie about New Asgard, I thought she was just talking about a little farm of hers and I was excited to come see even just that. I wasn't expecting to find an entire little community! It's pretty amazing and very homey, if you haven't come out to see it yet. It really reminds me of home, honestly. Oh! I see a tavern. Gotta go!

When I said I wanted to go on vacation, the first real one I'd have had in a good decade, this is not really what I had in mind.

Well, this is all... fascinating. I'm familiar with the multiverse theory, though I never expected to experience it for myself. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, given that I've recently experienced time travel which I also thought was theoretical for the majority of my career.
