Apparently I worked at the Underground as a trainer and didn't know about that until I was walking by the place and it triggered a memory. So I went in, got to talking to management, and I'm starting up sessions again at the Underground a couple of days a week. Group sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, individual sessions on an as need basis. If you're looking to sharpen up whatever skills you do have or are looking to learn self defense, come find me or message me.

I'll be focused on knife fighting, boxing, Taekwondo, and Krav Maga. Open to other martial arts and hand to hand.

And if you have a problem with a baby watching me kick your ass into shape, do not take this class. This is part of her training.

Hey, does anybody know if there are some Outlander playgroups, or just recommendations for toddler-friendly things to do?

Ásynja Meadery will go on. Torunn worked too hard on it for us to shutter its doors. The Palace is gone, however. We did transplant a lot of the fruit bearing trees to the winery with help from Freya months ago, so some of the garden lives on.

We do need more help though. Bartenders, one more bar manager, an event planner, and brewers. Someone that likes numbers would be great as well. I'm told keeping profits in gold bars is a bad idea and I have something called taxes?

Esme is becoming total BFFs with Glenn. It's the most adorable thing I've ever seen.

This social network thing has a severe lack of memes being shared and I'm a little disappointed. But also it feels weird to know that anything I write is going to be read by a bunch of people I don't really know instead of like followers or something. So what's up, everyone? Are memes a cool thing in this universe? Like a great way to cope with finding out we're in an infinite universe?

What about quality-of-life questions to start discussions? Example: since like anyone can show up here, what fictional (to you) character would you be very chill to meet? I'll go first - I want to meet Megamind.

Public opinion poll:

Would you be interested in/have any use for a public transportation system here in Vallo beyond Waypoints? More specifically, a light rail.

Obviously the waypoints are great, and useful. My thinking is that magic can be unpredictable, so why not have a backup. Also, always good to have another option for Outlanders who might not always be comfortable with magical transportation.

Would love to get some various opinions to see if this is something SIV may potentially move forward with.

After all the crazy this month, I sort of figured we could all use some silliness to cool down. But this time, instead of "today is [insert random holiday here]", you get a mini-survey! (Thank Google, even my brain couldn't come up with all these.)

You know what's exhausting, exhilarating, challenging, anxiety-inducing, AND the cutest thing in the entire world all at once, somehow?

Wrangling fourteen preschoolers and toddlers who want to color all over your nice, clean spaceship, and you were the dummy who didn't think to put down sheets or tarps to catch the mess. And then feeding them lunch on top of it, only making the mess bigger.

On the positive side, everyone had a blast! We now have a dozen abstract art pieces of Finn and Catra to hang on our living room walls, and I get to clean up remnants of finger paint, markers, and strawberry jelly. Which wouldn't usually be a positive, but I like cleaning.
