I don't know about you guys, but I'm kind of pissed about missing Fall entirely. And other things, like a wedding.

Now that I've returned to work and have caught up on many, many correspondences, our menu at Galdin Quay has been updated to reflect the holiday season. It might still be warm on the water, but we're happy to provide a holiday feast.

We will also be offering four-course experiences until the end of the year - limited availability each night and reservations are recommended.

After the new year, I plan on hosting another dinner party and tasting event at our house to help practice for the upcoming spring menu. New year, new ideas, and I am already crafting recipes to stretch the imagination - if you want to attend, you have to have an open mind, an empty stomach, and the ability to offer constructive feedback.

A question for the masses: What's the strangest thing you've eaten and enjoyed?

Apparently I worked at the Underground as a trainer and didn't know about that until I was walking by the place and it triggered a memory. So I went in, got to talking to management, and I'm starting up sessions again at the Underground a couple of days a week. Group sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, individual sessions on an as need basis. If you're looking to sharpen up whatever skills you do have or are looking to learn self defense, come find me or message me.

I'll be focused on knife fighting, boxing, Taekwondo, and Krav Maga. Open to other martial arts and hand to hand.

And if you have a problem with a baby watching me kick your ass into shape, do not take this class. This is part of her training.

Hello, I'm back, but not here to rip out any hearts unless you ask nicely.

I'm working on getting things sorted, but Henry's a baby now because Vallo made a choice. I'm not complaining, but this means diapers, sleepless nights, and me not being able to work fulltime at my old law firm until I can figure that out. I need a babysitter and my go tos are gone (what the fuck, Vallo) or don't remember me (what the fuck, Nyx).

Once that's sorted, I'll be needing some help when I'm working fulltime again. I need an investigator on my payroll to help me work my cases. No real requirements other than light feet and a can do attitude. No perkiness..

Dear all of Vallo from a world that celebrates winter holidays but are not native to this one,

It's going to be my first year celebrating here which, you know, is great for all the new friends I've made here, but not so great when I'm thinking of my family back home and also realizing it'll be the first time I don't even celebrate the Chinese New Year with them, and it's making me feel some type of way.

How the hell do you cope or manage to get through it without a breakdown?

Before anyone suggests "a new hairdo", done and done. Abi and I found a place that did magical hair growth and all and I got longer hair! I debuted it during the wedding even.

Has anyone who's suffered memory loss woken up with things restored as of yet? It seems I need a timeline of how long before this might be fixed, and when Vallo will right itself.

I am on vacation for the next two weeks starting tomorrow. We are getting married in exactly 5 days, Thursday is our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. I am finalizing the menu with the caterer today, and the headcounts. Our wedding attire is at least finished with its final fittings.

Prompto and Gladio have both been hit with whatever this is. I don't have details yet, because Prompto spent twenty minutes hiding in the bathroom until Noctis just barged in and then he finally came out for breakfast. Gladio clarified a bit, but the best I've determined is that things are a far cry from our usual relationship.

I haven't the faintest if they've written their vows. Or if they'll be turned back by Saturday. Or if they'll remember any of this.

Vallo once again proves that it is nigh impossible to plan things and that all future engagements should be of the utmost chaos and done without previous planning. We should have eloped.

I went to Soups Soups Soups Soups for breakfast soup this morning, only to find that they are closed due to vandalism and damage done to the interior and exterior overnight. It looked fairly extensive, with windows broken and the dining and kitchen areas in full disarray.

This is vexing for a number of reasons and I would like to know who would do such a thing, immediately.

I have been spending this first week of the month harvesting the vegetables ahead of the coming fall. While I have plans to preserve much of it, there is still quite a bit left should anyone be wanting anything. I have an abundance of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, carrots, potatoes, and peas. As well as some fruits - most notably blueberries. Please come take some blueberries.

Yrsa's pumpkins continue to grow, the largest is bigger than her head which she finds absolutely delightful.
