Anyone got an afternoon where they wouldn't mind helping out someone unfamiliar with types of motorcycles? Being similar to a speeder bike, think I prefer that over one of those cars.

But this is me announcing my retirement from Fight Club. These old bones can't keep up with you young ones anymore. It was fun while it lasted, fully expect me to come watch and bet on you all still.

For those of you that attend Fight Club, is there anything you'd like to see? 2v2 fights? Adding in blindfolds or obstacles in the ring? Would it be something you would be interested in occasionally? Or keep Fight Club the same as it always is on its normal evening, but add in an extra for various other events?
We're always looking to keep it interesting and improve, so please feel welcome to voice any suggestions.

And to add onto that, I had an idea for next month? Valentine's Day is approaching and people might like to do something with significant others or friends and maybe even like our normal pairings? But the idea I had was to do a Pillow Fight Club for that evening, pair people off or let them sign up together, supply the pillows and decorate the ring.
If that's too ridiculous, I expect you all to tell me so I can bin the idea before I purchase two dozen pillows.

Hey, a couple of my compatriots from Satan's Snowglobe originally came from early 19th century London, so I wanted to make sure a few things are true here before we take them on a Women's Rights Tour of the Future. Please confirm that the following are accurate here in Vallo:
1. Women can wear whatever they please
2. Women can have bank accounts
3. Women can wear trousers
4. Women can own land
5. Women can marry or not marry as they see fit, regardless of how their male relatives feel about it, and regardless of the gender of the person they may or may not choose to marry
6. There is nothing strange about a woman having a profession
7. Women enjoy the same sexual freedoms as any other gender, including the ability to prevent pregnancy
8. Genders other than "man" and "woman" are recognized, including but probably not limited to nonbinary, agender, genderfluid

So a lot has been going on and I can't say I've been much of a help. I'm not a researcher or someone magical, I can't even begin to help with the brainstorming y'all need. But there's plenty of capable people that are already helping with that, so I'm not worried.
But I can help with cooking and collecting food and other basics people might need for when new people get here. I know Morningside can handle a lot of new bodies, but I'm looking to stock the empty apartments, so people don't gotta worry about it for a few days.
If anyone wants to help me with that, I'd be thankful. With donations or soliciting, whatever you can do. Drop off in the lobby, I'll be there. And if anyone has requests, say the word.

I'm going to close the shop on Christmas Eve and keep it closed through Christmas Day. Boyd used to do this every yearwhich I didn't understand until, even if there were jobs to be done, andI guessI don't want to break tradition even if it's not widely celebrated here as much as Solstice. Vallo can wait. Checks will be ready to pick up tomorrow and you'll be paid for the time lost for having the shop closed whether or not you were scheduled to work that day.
I'll handle whatever work was on Michael's plate for the rest of this week and redelegate when everyone comes back.
