Meet the newest member of the family! I adopted her this weekend. She's sweet, but a bit rambunctious at times and I'm in love. I've named her Houdini.

There's something wrong when I'm looking up magician jokes. That's beyond being bored. Not to mention all these jokes are ridiculously lame. Anyway, I'm wondering if there are any chocolate shops or candy shops where I can get some good chocolate. I'm team milk chocolate, by the way. Adora, if necessary can you watch her while I force Richie to help me finish puppy proofing my apartment? I did most of the work but you're the only person I know who both has a dog and seems trustworthy enough and I'm picking her up first thing tomorrow. I would really appreciate it.
Richie, my new therapist told me I need to be open about my needs and what I need right now is for my friend to help me make sure all of the electrical cords in the apartment are safely out of reach of puppy teeth using nontoxic tape. I already put child locks on all of the cabinets.

Oh dip! I was at the fish market for the weird squid flavors and the old guy that sells fake gator but tries to sell it as real gator. We were gonna show him what we thought about that, but then I got distracted by this place call Crahven fish and next to it was Crahven crabs. They said they’re new and they gave me tons of seafood cause DJ Flippers did a little dance. It was bad, but apparently cute, so I got a discount. Does anyone wanna come eat some of this, though? I got a little too excited about free food.
Also maybe someone come help us carry it from the place cause I slashed Motor Rick’s tires in Gator Mike’s honor and he’s probably gonna figure it out soon.

So apparently I didn't realize just how much I hated my job until I tried to apply for a similar position here and literally got up and walked out halfway through the interview. Not that it matters that I hate it, they definitely aren't gonna call me.
How the hell do you forge an entirely new career at forty? I've never had a fucking mid life crisis before.
