You know, one of the great things about being married is learning new things about your partner, even after we've been together for years.

Like today I found out that Teddy uses a giant magical sword (a sword that that a prophecy proclaimed that whoever could pull this sword from a stone [I know, I know] would become the ruler of space) as a table that he puts his cereal bowl on.

It's things like this that keep the spark alive.

Lindon, a farmer nearby that I have helped with fencing, barn-raising, and general assistance on his property has passed away this evening. He was local to this world and has been a kind soul, helping Mimir and I both understand things about this world. He will be missed.

But it has reminded me of something I had forgotten. People can die here, in this place. Too often, people I have encountered just disappear for various reasons. I do not wish to take that for granted. If you are friendly with anyone from Vallo, please tell them what they mean to you before they are lost.

I don't have a single memory of what the heck happened in the last week so I'm going to just go ahead and preemptively say that it was clearly not me. Or, well. A different me. But not ME me. It's pretty easy to track who you talked to and all through these things but everything else is like JUST A BLANK!

I need like, a quick update on stuff.

First off, hi. I have time traveled. Or I guess my mind has? Another Vallo thing, I see. But anyway, just because I've been away from Vallo for so long doesn't mean I don't post about things I remember from my world that just stick with me for some reason or another!

And today's thing that stuck with me is that October 1st is International Raccoon Appreciation Day back on plain ol' Earth. Should be universal if you ask me. Therefore, ROCKET! If you're still here, let's get you some treats.

ALSO ALSO, Diego and Lila, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I want to get you some treats too.

I'm pretty sure my mom would yell at me for posting this, but I can't find her. Does anyone know where she is? Or what these creepy scarecrows are doing around the house? I think they're moving closer?

With the heat, we're keeping a close eye on all of the animals here and making sure they're well hydrated and as comfortable as can be. :) Chickens can't sweat (I know, right?? I had no idea) and so to help keep them a little cooler and entertained I made them a cake.

Hey guys! Long time no see!

So, real quick question, but Kamala didn't, you know, disappear in the last few months, did she? It's just that her house is empty and I'm kind of freaking out

Just wanted to shout out that if you see me around at any of the Pride events and would like a flower crown to add to your look, don't hesitate to ask for one. I make them with magic, so they last until I more or less forever without wilting and I can do them in whatever flowers or colors you like. It's really my one magical party trick, so I'm happy to do it and share the festivities.
