This is the part where we all check in on each other right? I'm new to actually being a team player...

Hearing all this talk about witch covens and ceremonies and schools gave me a slight bit of hope that maybe there was something to look forward to in the werewolf community. But can now officially confirm:

Nope.

It's a hot mess. Because of course it is.

So I'm researching demons and could use some help. This totally doesn't sound suspicious at all!!! If you have a history with them and you're willing to talk about it, let me know? I already covered a few things with Ginger Spice Corey Hart (thanks again). I just need, like, information specific to different worlds, you know? Gotta cover my bases and shit.

Otherwise, I think Matthew has the right idea about sharing cute stuff, (  so here's Fluffykins posing.  )

With so many new folks showing up in the past couple days, I thought it might be a good idea to re-introduce myself and connect you guys with any resources you might need. Or uh just say hi again. I'm Noctis. Caroline and I started the DOA when we showed up here over a year ago. There weren't nearly as many of us then, so in an effort to keep up with all the new arrivals, we're opening the floor to get your requests and feedback in one place. What do you want to see moving forward? How can we help you while we're all here?

Some of the things we're already working on (and the people who suggested it):

1. A suite of welcome materials to on-board new folks (Gansey is on this one).
2. Opt-in tracking for departures with notifications to any designated friends and family (thanks to Bonnie and Cisco).
3. Guardian volunteers for anyone under the age of 18.
4. Faster response times for arrivals + provisions for parents with small children (Rogue).
5. FAQ from the magic research team (Anders) and information for werewolves (Kate).
6. New arrival mentorship program (Adam).
7. I can't believe I'm - Sex education (Richie).

And if you'd like to get involved in the DOA, by all means, we'd love to have you. We're starting to get pretty understaffed That's it for now. Crystal summoning, huh? That's new. I'm not against it, per say, but it empowers the wellness movement a little more than I'm comfortable with. What's Karen in Milwaukee going to do when a demon shows up to her Avon party? That's happened before, by the way. Bit awkward. I'd have dressed for the occasion if I knew I was going to get summoned by too many Yankee candles and a very enthusiastic soccer mom.

Which is to say: hi ladies, gentlemen, and fellow folks beyond the binary. Name's Crowley, a demon (possibly?) on administrative leave (you'd have to ask Beel), recently from another dimension calling itself Tumbleweed. Now, I realize some of you aren't exactly human yourselves (shout out to the supernatural entities) but I also realize getting shoved into a smallish space can be stressful for even the folks without claustrophobia, which brings me to my next (and final—promise, didn't even prepare a powerpoint this time) point:
