Hey out there, Network People. I heard I should introduce myself here. I'm Liam, I've been here about a week, and I haven't posted because - technology, that's new. But I think I've got the hang of it now, and Violet says you guys like pictures of cool things, so here's one.



I don't usually get to paint them, but you guys have craft stores that are pretty awesome. I spent almost all of my DOA stipend there, so that probably means it's time I get a job. Who's got good work recommendations for a dragon-less dragon rider?

Right then! Just wanted to pop on now that I've got a bit more of a handle on things, and say a heartfelt cheers and thanks to those that helped me during my quite ghastly arrival. Even those of you that laughed at me - hope to have brought some humor for your day.

I never got to make proper introductions, all said. I'm Si Robin Blyth, I come from the same ah- time? place? world? These things go over my head - as Edw Ms. Violet Debenham, and Mr. Edwin Courcey, but! If you hadn't guessed by my previous blundering, I am not lucky enough to be as gifted as they are with magic, just stumbled into it by accident and then ended up with unexpected psychic abilities! Though, I've learned that having foresight really isn't that helpful at all, in the end, especially not when they couldn't even warn me I'd be walking into a but apparently I'm not the only one of my kind here?

It is nice being able to say that part to the general public! So far I've heard of the same-sex marriages, the fact that women have far more freedom, and experienced now the indoor plumbing and hot showers on command. Tell me of more wonders? What am I missing? I've become acquainted with several bars and taverns since my arrival so that part is covered now do your worst.

I know. No one asks for help anymore. But I am. Some of you are privy to all the shit going on with this body me. And after the last world we were in And after pouring over everything I can possibly think of, we're I'm at a roadblock.

Reverse this, break the magic, whatever it is you do. I'm willing to do anything. Just name your price to get me back to what I am.

Things I've learned this past week:

1. There's a reason that Vex was always the one that took the lead in the woods and why I took the lead when we were in cities. Nature is grand and beautiful, but fucking hell I was not made for it and never will be made for it, at least not for extended periods. Velora is already asking about a weekend camping trip and I can't tell if she's giving me a hard time or actually wants to go.

2. Squirrels are total gossips. Genuinely, I feel the need to check in with the ones that live around the house, just to see what is going on.

3. My bear of a nephew is a pretty good thief, if he's stealing from you while you're exhausted from walking around a forest that wants to kill you at every turn.

4. Despite roughing it in a mountain, my fiance was still as radiant as ever, which I think should come to no one's surprise. I did not fare as well and I swear that I am still picking twigs and leaves out of my hair.

5. Can we be done now? This is not a lesson learned, just a plea.

Wild Vallo

Darlings, we spotted the portal creature in that meadow on the southeastern side, closish to the pond. It was resting, poor thing, but didn't stay that way all that long before an arboreal animosity made a most auspicious entrance and it flew off.

Does anyone have eyes on it?

hey I got another sighting on that cat beast whatever the hell it is. saw it getting bullied by some ants so groot and I stepped in. it disappeared before I could try and COMMUNICATE of course. it didn't fight back though. ain't sure if it can't or if it just won't. I mean it's got claws right? anyway groot tried catching a scent to follow it but he got distracted by squirrels so there's that.

think I mighta got some readings on my datapad that could be useful. guess we'll see. anybody want to see what barbecued ant tastes like?

[Defense Team B]

Hey everyone, it's time to welcome a new member to Team B. That's B for Bad-ass. Hyphenated because then it'd be two words and wouldn't work. (I think that was Quill's idea? Correct me if I'm wrong)

So hey Deleneios, I hope you're ready for the best team in the business. Let me do a round of introductions, in case any of you are super familiar with each other. It's Del for short, right?

First up is Gamora. Team mom. Mean and green, she gets the job done and makes sure we stay hydrated. She's freakin tough - both in battle and on the team if they get out of line.

Then there's Quill. Team mom's assistant. Great go-to for music. Surprisingly good at plans. Great fashion sense and somehow kind of charming? He can be bribed with Pop Rocks.

Putting Nebula third because that's my favorite number. She's unstoppable, determined, dangerous, and has a dark sense of humor. She also has a flying car. And quite possibly the coolest arm in existence (sorry Shiro, even though he can't see this).

Up next is Rocket. Three feet tall with ten feet of skill. He can do it all, engineering, aviation, marksmanship. He even runs a radio station in his spare time - also great music tastes. If you ever need something blown up, just text him. You'll probably see Groot with him - very cute little guy but do NOT underestimate him.

You probably know Orym, so I am putting him as the bookend on this introduction. He's mostly here to help me finesse the DOA when our team goes "above and beyond." No, I'm kidding. Am I? Very skilled with sword and board, he's a great addition to the team and we're happy to have him. Plus he gets along with Groot because he can make plants grow.

Has anyone else woken this morning to find themselves with [...] stranger than usual powers?

I have a sword now. A magical sword, so that's a thing and I'm not sure what to think about it. Also, it was sticking out of my coffee table Sword-in-The-Stone style. I've already pulled it out and no one crowned me the king of anything. (I need a new coffee table).
