I chimed in on Laudna's heels, but it's been a couple days and I guess it's high time that I introduce myself, as well. I'm new here, obviously, so I don't know how things are done, but it feels polite.

So anyway, hello. I'm Orym of the Air Ashari, but you can just call me Orym. Much less of a mouthful.

Laudna and I have found housing and bagels and have done a bit more exploring beyond that, but if there is anything that people think newcomers that have never seen a um car? before should definitely check out, I'm taking suggestions. I also heard that there is a defense sort of group, is that right? I'm pretty handy with my sword and shield, so it feels like that would be a good way to pass the time as it seems like we're going to be here for a while.

Oh and if anyone sees a very tall faun named Fearne or a blue or an air gen, could you let me know? She's really great and one of my best friends, but also has sticky fingers and is a little chaotic so--I'd just like to know, is all.

I came down the ladder this morning to find The Divine Ferocia and Captain Hopper II sitting proudly by their latest kill deposited at my office door. However, instead of the usual mouse or vole carcass, I have been presented with a pile of brass and gears. It looks like it might have been a dragonfly before they detached its wings.

Is this Vallo-usual, or should I be concerned?

Your self defense tip of the day: some asshole grabs you in a side headlock, turn into the attacker's side because the goal is to avoid losing your air, and then slam the fuck out of their groin. Fight's not over until the threat is gone, so you hit once, you hit twice, you hit until you can run like hell, no shame in that.

Also, if anyone has any idea on how to communicate with someone who died a ghost my brother. Let me know. He uses the devices, which is fucking weird, but. Something more permanent.
