Well, we're reaching into the last few days of October, coming up to Halloween very quickly, which means celebrations all around.

With that, I'd like to remind people of my hair and makeup salon and my ability to do some super realistic effects that do require Grisha magic but are completely temporary if you so wish. I can do hair of any colors without requiring hair dye if you don't wish to go that way and any style you want. I even have my own little online portfolio.

Oh, and for those of you who are time-displaced, I'll make things a little easier for you at these parties and do it free of cost!

Okay, so like, back when there were less of you, I meant to post this and now its 9 days before the day, and I have become frantic but I need to figure this out before I drag Carol with me to go shopping.

And also, since there's more of you, maybe I'll get some ideas! Maybe some future people can also help by conveniently remembering something for your past about it!

I need Halloween costume ideas. For me, they're usually a great way to cosplay at school, and my go-tos are usually Captain Marvel and Black Widow, of course. One time I also did a female genderbent version of Iron Man and was all psyched to wear it until Zoe Zimmer did one too and it looked way cuter on her so in a fit of rage, I didn't wear it. (Disclaimer: Zoe and I are cool now, she helped me out a whole lot recently.)

Now I know characters are sometimes the way to go but we also live in a world where those same characters you thought were fictional are actually here or you just met your real life hero. So, what's something else you'd go for without making it awkward for anyone?

All right, I've slept on it and that race was a lot of fun. (In fairness, I thought it was a lot of fun yesterday too, but now it's a for sure thing.)

Now that it's over, though, I feel like I want to actually learn how to drive. Not that dodging vines, a massive dinosaur, lightning, and gravity aren't all a great way to have a first go at it, but it feels like it might be a good skill to have? Outside of those kind of unique circumstances. At least, I'm assuming they're unique and that's not just how things are for people with cars.

Also, just want to recognize mine and Chet's really great pit crew, because they did a good job. Sorry all that pit prep and research was for nothing.

Okay, I am ready to get one of those magical sped-up healing for my leg... for both my sake and my brother's, so 1. this pain could go away when I get overly enthusiastic about the races and forget about the cast, and 2. so Mike stops getting so damn stressed out.

But besides that, congratulations to all the winners! Eddie, sweetheart, don't worry, you won't have to do too much to clean up the girls' bathroom at least.

How often do people get new memories of their own world back into their minds? What was the longest amount of time people got? Does the headache with it correlate with how much memory you get? Like mild headache for getting memory of 2-3 days vs massive migraine for 2-3 years?

As an update regarding the Zeph'aeratam classes, for those that were interested: starting the first week of July I'm going to be doing morning classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 7AM and Thursday evenings at 6PM at the training grounds. I know that for some that's very early (hence the evening option), but I always start my mornings with it and just think that's the best time to get those exercises in. I think that if you come to one of those morning sessions, you'll agree with me--but no judgement if you choose the evening, because I know not all schedules allow early morning wakeups.

Anyway, feel free to come, if you're interested. Bring a weapon if you want, but it isn't required at all.

Wow, I have not thought of the Heliscorpter in ages, but would you believe that it showed up at Castle Bright Moon today! I can hardly believe it!

Summer Solstice is on the 21. Solstice beach party on the 20 to ring in the warmer season, since city celebrations will be in full swing on the actual day.

If you didn't notice this post, there's a dragon typically draws magic from his home world here, and she doesn't have a strong enough connection to sustain herself.

I've been speaking with with Prigany, Enki, and The Clave, and after consulting with some of their members I think I have a spell that will allow her to connect to Vallo itself, but I can't complete it alone. Rhysh is in, but I need three more people to get this done. Any volunteers?

On the same note, if anyone is willing to channel some magic into the dragon, maybe a schedule, that might help her general state of health until we can get this done. I think I was able to help her a little the other night, but it will only last for so long.

Hello, good morning--happy Thursday? Take your pick of greetings, I suppose. A friend (hello, Dorian) made a suggestion to me yesterday that's been on my mind, so I wanted to see if there would be any interest before I considered it too thoroughly.

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Orym and back home, in another life, I was at one point a guard for the leader of my people, the Air Ashari. We practiced the Zeph'aeratam, which is a form of exercise that involves a lot of fluid movements and poses, practiced breathing, and also incorporates your weapons of choice--for me it's a shortsword, but there were others who had greatswords, longswords, even daggers. The exercises were a mixture of flexibility training and a source of calm. As an example, I greet my mornings this way, and sometimes end my days, depending on how trying a day it happened to be.

To make an already long story a bit shorter, would there be any interest from others to learn this? If there isn't, that's fine, but on the off chance that there is, I wanted to get an idea of numbers before I tried scheduling anything official. It might be once or twice a week, probably more late morning than the very early that I get up for myself. It can also be weapons optional, too, so don't feel like you need to take up arms if you're interested.

Time slots are morning, afternoon, or night; "behind the camera" folks will be called earlier than models are; assume everyone here is awesome at their jobs. I woke up this morning to discover that my family's library somehow attached itself to Sutton Cottage. I'm not complaining -- I'd missed it rather a lot, actually -- but it is a little strange how it attached itself so seamlessly. I even went outside to see if I could notice an added extension, and had I not known where to look, I don't think I would have noticed at all.

I wish I could I suppose it's a good thing I have a job, so I wouldn't just hole myself up here for the next few weeks making sure everything's in place. As much as I'd like to. Now if I could be so lucky to get Flora Sutton's research journals as well.
