For anyone who was wondering: yes, my family is the worst the extraordinarily wealthy have to offer. My parents are actually worse than the Christmas Movie Worst - no one has an assassin on retainer to kill a whole bunch of people to cover up a space station disaster in Christmas movies. Making a conference table out of a tree of immense emotional significance would actually be pretty tame for them.

Also, fun fact I learned in Serendipity Hills: in most worlds with an America, Jack Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. I'm amazed you guys still had space programs.

Dare I say it, but I am very much looking forward to this winter break away from school? I love school, I am a complete nerd, I wear that as a badge of honor--but I also spent too much time away from working on my own projects because of the television thing last week (I am sorry to all involved, but it was rather addicting) and a few weeks to just work on those sounds entirely too ideal.

That being said, I probably shouldn't spend the whole time wrapped up in my study. Probably.

What are some winter type activities or traditions that you just have to do every year?

Alright, listen up - I'm throwing the Hearty 'Bye Singledom' Party on behalf of our favorite aliens, Catra and Adora, who are shackling themselves together in holy matrimony very soon. This Thursday it's gonna be low key - come to Skyhold, we're making cheese. Legit cheese, in honor of the cheesy holiday shit we just endured, their love for each other, my love for them, and our love for pizza.

We will be making pizza with that cheese. In the wood-fired ovens it's very chef's kiss too.

So yeah, there will be pizza, video games, card games where you can lose all your money and donate it to the brides, a stripper's pole, and a story of their courtship told in eight different cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Be there or be a loser (and that's loser with a lowercase L).
